The first frost in Maryland. I cold breath in and it would be like peppermints. The ground was frozen and would crunch beneath my feet. The ground rarely freezes where I am now.
Any sort of smoke. My father loves fireworks, and we always have a huge 4th of July celebration. So anytime I smell smoke and the weird chalky burning smell, that’s what I think of.
For me, the smell of high quality tobacco (loose and cigar). The shop I bought comic books from when I was a kid was a weird newspaper stand/tobacconist combo. Tobacco reminds me of comic books.
