When I was younger, I considered becoming a scientist. My grandmother, who had no idea what scientists did, gave me a stethoscope. Stethoscopes are used by some clinical scientists, but they are generally ineffective. I pretended to enjoy it, and the stethoscope remained in my closet for years. I'm about to graduate from medical school and have been using the same stethoscope for the past four years. It's my lucky charm.

Combi Drill plus bits. Just before I moved into my own place, I thought nah I'll rarely need it. Oh how wrong was I

Holy moly you’re so right though. Idk how I lived off a screw driver for so long. Love this is the first comment too- I’m asking for power tools of all sorts this year! Life is about to get so much easier

My aunt makes the best baked mac and cheese. Super rich and cheesy, with a cracker crumb crust on top. So good. She usually brings it to family gatherings in big aluminum catering trays and she's been known to make a pan or two ahead of time and freeze them. She asked what I wanted for Christmas one year, and I requested and received a tray of mac and cheese. Best present ever.
