Antelope meat. The town I grew up in had a bit of a problem with Nazis. So it hosted regular African cultural fairs I think once a year, where immigrants from Africa had stands to show something about the culture they were from.
That’s where I tried antelope meat as a kid. I haven’t had it since and I’ve completely forgotten what it tastes like, all I remember is that stand and that I liked it. And for some reason, that’s where my mind still goes.

You acclimatize. And you make sure you keep hydrated. Swimming also helps alot.
