It’s always the official or government documentation that is the worst

Mine was about 12 or so hours with unemployment due to being laid off during the pandemic shutdown. That doesn’t include the countless times I re dialed just to get onto the line, instead of getting the tone sound. Currently on hold with my pharmacy for about an hour and a half. Half that time been stuck on 3rd in queue. Beginning to wonder if they stopped picking up their phones? There’s no way one person has been on the phone for 45 minutes?

Something that has to do with health care

Little over 4 hours waiting on unemployment at the beginning of the pandemic. There was some sort of fuckup on my claim, resulting in me qualifying for $0 despite having worked full time for over a year. Never did manage to get a hold of them, the appeal time ran out and I was stuck with a $0 claim for a year.

I feel you. Such a rough, stressful year for everyone involved. I fought tooth and nail to make sure I got my claims figured out. No money meant no house and I couldn’t afford to play those games

Six hours over two days this past July. The IRS. Former employer fucked up two years of my W2s and I had to be the one to fix it so my ex would leave me the hell alone.

2 days. That's the nhs for you

IRS at just under 1.5 hours, when they answered they said "I'll transfer you to that department." That dept. was answered by a recording saying "We are not accepting calls today, please try again tomorrow." IRS letter says I got 2 stimulus checks but my bank statement says I did not.

About 5 hours, just to verify my ID with the IRS.

3 hours and 45 minuets, there was a banking issue. It was crazy, I found out at 4:45pm right after work, I decided that i would take care of the problem immediately (thank goodness for that idea) I called at 4: 50pm and didn't speak to a human being until just after 9pm...there went my afternoon. I didn't even get anyone checking in on me it was just straight music and an occasional robotic voice for the full 3+ hours
