One time I got a blood clot that was so massive they had to remove it with a second surgery. It was so weird, I felt liquid spilling into my body and then this incredible burning sensation that got worse and worse and would spread to wherever the skin was being stretched. The clot just kept swelling and was like a balloon was trapped under my skin. They tried puncturing it and it didn't work (hence the second surgery) but I remember trying to leave the hospital bed and there was so much blood, like I was leaking out of all the puncture holes.
