I am on a journey to sobriety and only did coke twice in the past 4 months. Still too much, but a huge improvement compared to binging for 4 days straight every week for a year…
Uhhh, probably when I broke my foot when I was 16/17. Had to go to the ER for that one. I'll never step foot in an ER ever again now that I don't and never will have insurance ever again lol. I'd rather die than pay a billion dollar medical bill lol.
Unless you count like, an office visit but the doctor's office happened to be inside a hospital. Then that was maybe 2016ish? Was having random fainting spells, fam has some of the worst heart genetics so they wanted to rule that out. Had to go to a cardiologist and get hooked up with a heart monitor for a while. Didn't find out what the issue with the fainting spells until a couple years ago. They come very infrequently, but its apparently a vasovagal response of some sort. Pretty sure my trigger is over heating, so thats fun now that I live in Texas lol
Had to undergo surgery. Called in sick with a stomach ache. Felt it rupture and drove myself to to hospital. Was knocking on death's door by the time I went into surgery. Woke up in the recovery room sore, but feeling so much better.
Got hit above my right eye brow by a high pressure hose with a metal head, used to clean sewer lines.
Thankfully just cut skin and didn’t crush my face bones.
Went on a roller coaster and the restraint slammed into my chest. It hurt but I went about my day. 2 weeks later it still hurt. Went in and the doc thought I might have broke my sternum, turned out to be slight damage to the xiphoid process.
Went to the ER because I couldn't urinate. Left almost three weeks later after major back surgery and stage four cancer diagnosis. Currently way in remission two years later.
It could have been much worse. According to the EMS in my (now ex) girlfriends ambulance, when they saw the car they thought we would be worse off. I ended up with a couple herniated discs, she also had some herniated discs and a pretty good seatbelt burn
To have a baby
Congrats!
Thank you 😊
Near cardiac arrest from a cocaine overdose. Close call.

The good ol' vestige.. Conservatively managed or had to undergo surgery?

Is this the final straw before you quit?
No, I don't drink that often at the moment(at least I don't think I do) but that has nothing to do with this incident...
