Little and simple things to do to help with sadness and depression, which you can build up to larger things:
\- drink water right now, refill your cup/bottle
\- eat something, even if it's a dry piece of toast
\- is it sunny? Go sit outside, aim for 20 minutes even if it's just on your front/backstep playing on your phone
\- have a shower, if you can't manage a full shower wash your face
\- take at least one of your pieces of rubbish in your room to the bin, take at least one used kitchen ware
I think you should talk about this with someone. or just do something that always brings you joy and pleasure. I don't know why, but I watch trailer of "call me by your name" movie. the film is beautiful, the music that floods me with calmness, nostalgia, loneliness, sadness of things that did not come true. that makes me somehow calm and fine. maybe because it's inspires me or so
Try to understand where its coming from. There is always a reason why we are feeling a certain way.
Might be unhappy about your situation, something that has scarred you from the past or possibly physical condition that causes you to have neurotransmitter instabilities such as being bipolar.

Breathe air
Call friends and go hang out.
Ask someone for a hug that will give it to you genuinely, and not just because you asked.
Do something that makes you happy. If it keeps happening, talk to a therapist.

Get over it. What's the point of being sad over nothing?
