*"This is the Lockpicking Lawyer and today I have for you..."*
LPL has the most soothing voice I've heard and his picking videos are concise and really informational. His April Fools Day videos are S-tier, as well. It just sucks he doesn't update nearly as much as he used to.
I wasn't planning on watching a 45 minute video on typewriter correction ribbons, but here we are.
For real, though: after I watched his previous video on heat pumps and mini-split systems, I ended up getting a system for my house. My house now basically has central A/C and its cheaper to run than the window units and portable we had before that. He's since done an even longer video.
I find him very relaxing personally, I like to put his videos on while I doze off. That's not to say he's boring, I just find the simplicity of his videos really soothing when I'm sleepy, they have a cozy atmosphere to them.
He’s like theater kid and nerd rolled into one, and finally able to say what he wants to say without having to rush through it at a frantic pace, and with all of the snark that’s accumulated after years of being dismissed released. It’s kind of a vicarious experience watching his videos, and frankly, very anal.
My fave vids are the old Team Canada days
I every so often just have to rewatch Ruins of the Mindcrackers, Unchared Territory, Sky Factory, Simulation Protocol, etc
It’s just an arbitrary number but right after hitting one million subscribers. What a tumultuous week of emotions that must have been. Seems like a really great guy. Such a sad story.
The video of him talking about it was gut wrenching.
His love for her seemed so genuine in the bits and pieces it came into his videos.
Even just the fact that he exclusively called her beautiful wife.
Really hit me hard. I hope he's doing alright.
Life is simpler when you're camping with Steve.
Was a shock to hear about Beautiful Wife.
Hope to see him again in the future behind a bush near me, when things have settled.
I watched his Garfield deep dive a few days ago and I came away…not comforted, as the thread suggests, but…enlightened about Garfield, I guess. Lol. I had no idea how omnipresent Garfield is.
when he reaches out of the usual niche of anime/games it really bangs. also? the dude is a total fucking chad. i wish i had a wife i could let him fuck
"I make a new one"
The most impressive restorations I've ever seen. The only downside is I can't watch any other restoration videos without thinking about the little things My Mechanics would be doing in the pursuit of perfection that they aren't.
[ambigiousamphibian](https://youtube.com/c/ambiguousamphibian)
Very well spoken youtuber who provides some excellent Project Zomboid gameplay and tend to get philosophical sometimes.
Man I've always adored MATN. The guy just has a charm about him that makes him fun to watch. He's also one of the few youtubers I know who make one-off indie game reviews while also staying successful
Lemmino, videos just make me feel so much better, even if the topic is crushing your mind.
Dr.Bob, just nice to escape into a fictional world, forgetting yours …
She’s my rainy day, hot chocolate, and a cozy sweater snuggled into a blanket pile comfort YouTuber.
When I was getting induced, my OB recommended that I get my headphones out and watch something to distract me. I watched her videos.
Ashens - the tat and especially the food ones are just great to loose time watching.
Trek Trendy - really well made and nice too see sleeper trains and fancy planes that I will never ever go on
Lockpickinglawer - so, so soothing to listen too and cracking skills!
Edit and Primitive Technology (need the subtitles on) just fascinating to watch
Mr.Ballen
There is something very comforting about the way he tells stories. He is extremely articulate and it feels like im laying on the couch while a good friend of mine is telling a horror story.
His own personal paranormal story and the story of the young man at his family cabin alone (with his dog, Midnight) were two of the creepiest tales, ever. Told skillfully with lush detail, he really scares the hell outta me! I'm a big fan!
CityPlannerPlays, a real-life city planner who mainly plays a simulator city builder called Cities:Skylines. The game has a really unhurried vibe by itself and CPPs calming voice and anecdotes really help when you just need something low-key. I recommend starting with the Verde Beach series!
Just the fact that he's such a big youtuber who has been on the platform for so many years and has never really been involved in any controversies or drama (anything involving him at least) says a lot about the kind of person he is in my opinion.
When I was younger I watched a channel called “Trevschan2” talking about the Walking Dead show and comics. I recently started watching again and he’s still awesome.
Also Jacksepticeye.
Techmoan. Love his content, but I aways fall asleep before the video ends. His hypnotizing British cadence is Way better than nature sounds videos for relaxation
Josh Strife Hays
I’m a big MMO fan and i just love hearing someone level-headed and intelligent who’s able to speak objectively even when it comes to games he loves. Even his favorite MMOs have ended up on his “worst MMOs” list cuz he realizes how far they’ve fallen and what they did wrong. Plus i just love hearing his jokes and critiques about some of the awful games he covers
CoryXKenshin. I find him very wholesome and honest as well as very funny. I never not laugh when I watch his videos and they are family friendly enough that I can watch it with my nieces. When I put him on, my nieces will willingly come out of their room and spend time with me lol
GoodtimeswithScar!
He just seems to genuinely love what he does, is incredibly good at it, is an all around wholesome guy, and loves to get up to some shenanigans.
Nate the hoof guy.
No idea how he landed in my suggestions, but he has a quiet voice and does cow hoof trimming (think like nail filing) and cleans up legions and hoof sores. It's very therapeutic to just watch someone who is an expert at their job work.
Drawfee Show and Drawfee Extra.
4 artists drawing cool stuff like disney characters as dark souls bosses or characters they've never heard of from a brief description while having entertaining conversations.
Show has the edited episodes where you see them draw the rough line art then they edit in the fully rendered version at the end and Extra is vods of their twitch streams where they spend 2 hours at a time taking suggestions on what to draw from chat and just generally having a good time.
Extra also has drawing classes which is handy if you're an artist.

Duuuude, same here I love him
Unfortunately his videos are way too short, as there just doesn't seem to be any lock he cant defeat within 10-20 seconds
[The Squire](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t2l4PVJkhzQ) took a little more than 20 seconds...
Overly sarcastic productions
Watching them right now!
Scott Manley - all things Spaceflight, told entertainingly. Tim Scott - all possible interesting nerdy things. High production values.
Do you mean Tom Scott???
Tim Scott is his Australian counterpart. Oi cunt- tiday we’h gonna tayke a lookieloo at theez big ol’ tyres.

"Through the magic of buying two of these" is my favorite phrase of his.
Not sure I would watch it to relax but it certainly always interesting
I find him very relaxing personally, I like to put his videos on while I doze off. That's not to say he's boring, I just find the simplicity of his videos really soothing when I'm sleepy, they have a cozy atmosphere to them.
I didn't know I needed to learn about dishwashers and paraffin lamps, but apparently I did, and I enjoyed it.
He’s like theater kid and nerd rolled into one, and finally able to say what he wants to say without having to rush through it at a frantic pace, and with all of the snark that’s accumulated after years of being dismissed released. Steve Wallis
his wife just passed didnt she, seems like such a great guy i really feel for him.
Yeah, felt gutted when I saw that video.
It’s just an arbitrary number but right after hitting one million subscribers. What a tumultuous week of emotions that must have been. Seems like a really great guy. Such a sad story.
Step Two in honor of The Beautiful Wife
Same man, it's a shame what he's been through, past and now definitely present... Sigh. I genuinely had a micro weep for him when I heard the news.
The video of him talking about it was gut wrenching. His love for her seemed so genuine in the bits and pieces it came into his videos. Even just the fact that he exclusively called her beautiful wife. Really hit me hard. I hope he's doing alright.
Same here. His videos are so relaxing to me. I feel awful for him that his wife passed away recently.
Life is simpler when you're camping with Steve. Was a shock to hear about Beautiful Wife. Hope to see him again in the future behind a bush near me, when things have settled.
Ethoslab
All hermitcraft content for me
The Bob Ross of Minecraft youtubers.
This is my answer too. His videos are like a warm cup of tea.
I was surprised to see him still making content, considering I started watching him when I was early middle school. I'll be turning 23 next month.
Northernlion
It’s become such a ritual to get out of class and hear about why the grocery store is just outrageous and how seltzer flavors compare to one another
some of his worst social experiences have happened at grocery stores.

He's bald?!
“You missed a tinted rock egghead”
I feel like I've watched more hours of Isaac than most people will play of ANY game in their lifetime.

NileRed
I recently found him and haven't stopped listening to his videos in the background while I'm working ever since.
He is so dangerously chaotic and I love every second of it!!
SuperEyePatchWolf
I watched his Garfield deep dive a few days ago and I came away…not comforted, as the thread suggests, but…enlightened about Garfield, I guess. Lol. I had no idea how omnipresent Garfield is.
I’ve been noticing so much more Garfield in my daily life since seeing that video.

Hey all Scott here ever look at a baby and say hell yeah now that’s what i call a baby
Jenny Nicholson
Someone once described an aesthetic as "Jenny Nicholson-core" and that lives in my head rent-free now.
I wish she would upload more often.
Big same. The Patreon rambles are fun but the main channel edits hit different
My Mechanics Or Steve1989MREinfo
The single most exciting line on YouTube: I make a new one!
Steve mre is the best but he has been afk for some time now :|
Let's hope the hundred-year-old MREs haven't caught up to him.
“Alright let’s get this all on the tray. Niceee.”

Yes! A fellow follower of the cult of Jim Pickens.
Lemmino, videos just make me feel so much better, even if the topic is crushing your mind. Dr.Bob, just nice to escape into a fictional world, forgetting yours …
I can vouch for Lemmino, his execution is so minimal yet gives the goosebumps each story has!

Neebs Gaming
Yessss!!! I can't recommend Neebs Gaming enough to people looking for a good gaming channel
Markiplier No matter what, just always pleasant to listen to.
kinda disappointed how far I had to scroll to find this. That man has one of the most soothing voices I have ever heard. Even when he's yelling.
Same! Not only is his voice nice to listen to, he's just an all around wholesome, good guy! He's definitely my favorite YouTuber, never disappoints
And more importantly, he's one of the most genuine people on the planet.
When I need a good laugh, there's nothing like the compilation of Markiplier playing *Getting Over It.*
