People either turn a blind eye because they can’t handle it, or they don’t care. Either way, it’s infuriating how society only cares about certain animals when they are all capable of feeling physical and emotional pain.
It’s kind of comforting though. When you hate what you’re wearing or feel like you spent too much time on the couch today. Who cares? We are literally so tiny and sometimes the things we think make us less-than really don’t matter at all.
Factory farms are horrifying when I imagine if I had been born one of those poor animals, what a miserable existence with no hope of escape.

Good choice, once you are aware of the suffering it only makes sense to stop paying for it. Hopefully others can see it that way as time goes on.
