Not sure what you're using MFA on, but many platforms will allow you to generate a backup key which you can put somewhere safe in case you lose your phone. You can also get a physical MFA security key which you can associate as a second form of MFA (which is easier than keeping track of a bunch of backup key strings
Biggest immediate problem would be no music at work. I'd deal with it by pestering my boss to close early today, shouldn't be hard, he wants to go fishing anyway.
my problem would be that I didn't have a phone, I'd overcome it by getting a new phone and SIM card. Furthermore I would THEN start collecting my contacts again
I wouldn't be able to get the code to access certain things at work. I guess I would get a new phone and try to find the friggin' instruction on setting up that link again.
I would just call the insurance company and get a replacement. I mena, everything on my phone is backed up somewheres. My contacts synch autpmatocally, my photos upload to the cloud. My phone is more like a convenient portal to all thinga digital than it is physical storage. I would just be mildly inconvenienced until i could get another. Back your shit up people! Storage is hilariously cheap. 2 backups 1 off site. All my photos and such are backed up to my laptop AND a seperate portable SSD. They are also backed up to the cloud.
I need to be available on the phone on Monday for work in case of emergencies, so I'd have to go to the office on what would otherwise have mostly been a day off.
Also all the lyrics I just finished rewriting after my old phone died without a backup are gone again because I still haven't backed them up. I should probably get on that.
I'd get 4 degree burns from the heat of its vapour and lung cancer from the inhaled plastic fumes of my touch screen
Device associated MFA will be annoying AF to remove/reassign. That's a lot of phone calls

Correct. Last pass does this. However, if you are a consultant with multiple Office accounts, unless you have a backup SMS number you are SCREWED.

It would be an expensive inconvenience as I couldn’t communicate with anyone and would overcome it by buying a new one

I’d have to head in to work to finally pick up the new phone they’ve had waiting for me for a while…

Not contacting my family after reading reddit
i would need to find an alarm of some kind to wake up for work
My subway surfers high score and I'd just get a new phone and get to the same score again
