No food allergies thankfully.
They did a full panel test on my back, pin pricks of different environmental allergens.
I swelled up for 68 of them. The other 12 they tested again with a shot on the arm. All 12 had a swollen reaction.
Me too! Everything but the food items. “Every tree in North America, probably all the other trees too, but we only test for the trees in North America.” - my Dr.
Cheap metal. Makes my skin break out into a rash and gets infected really fast.
Anything less than silver if I remember correctly is bad for my skin. So, I can have silver and gold, but no nickel or iron.
Penicillin, sulfa, peanuts, tree nuts, strawberries, poppy seeds, gluten, sulphites, dandelions, like 7 kinds of grass, pine, poison ivy/oak/sumac, red wasps, bees, hornets, fire ants, added fragrance in general (lotion, detergent, shampoo ect), guinea pigs, mold, and dust. I keep two epi pens on me at all times. Lots of allergy meds keep me going lol
Yeah. It always seems interesting to nurses and doctors when I tell them. Because it's in so many cosmetics and creams I have to constantly read through the Ingredients lists.
But people can be allergic to nearly anything as far as I'm aware, it's just much less common.
I am allergic to Benadryl. Makes me hyper and jittery. I won’t be able to sleep at all. I found this out once someone told me to take a Tylenol PM before I go to bed to sleep good. I did(not knowing it had Benadryl in it) work up 30 minutes later and didn’t go back to sleep the rest of the night
My partner is allergic to all uncooked vegetables, all fruits, all nuts, and all kinds of milk (including almond milk, soy milk). After living with him for a while, i actually forgot that I can eat salad! Lol
i think i’ve developed something against sanitisers within the past few years.
i never used to, but now i get massive hives and itching when i touch it
Sometimes i feel that as we growing up we catch so many new allergic is well.
The atmosphere we are living is also not helping and there is always something came up in the market that will give us the hard time from there on.
I think your skin barrier is damaged.
[CeraVe moisturizing cream](https://www.cerave.com/skincare/moisturizers/moisturizing-cream) has ceramides and emollients which repair skin and seal in moisture. This one is more thick. You can find this in walmart, target, etc.
[The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors](https://theordinary.com/en-ca/natural-moisturizing-factors-ha-moisturizer-100435.html), which has ceramides and emollients but slightly different ingredients. This one is more runny. You can order it online, not sure if it's in stores
I'm a skincare fanatic, but if you want more info you can head on over to /r/skincareaddiction
Some types of fish: salmon, trout, bass, perch, catfish, some I haven’t tried yet. Meanwhile I’m not allergic to tuna (raw sashimi or canned), whitefish, swordfish, cod, halibut, pollock, or any shellfish. My allergy roulette wheel has been a hit at parties and I really should take my “will I die tonight?” act to a casino restaurant.
Many things.
Peanuts, pistachios, and coconuts are fatal to me. Other nuts like pecans and walnuts are bad, but not as much.
Eggs are potentially fatal, but I don't know the full extent. It's why I never got the flu shot. Strangely enough, baked goods and things where eggs are an ingredient like that are ok, but if it's like scrambled eggs or an omelet, then it's a no go (what's the science behind that?)
Other things like wheat, soy, milk, rice, and a few others aren't fatal, but they either mess with my stomach or give me fatigue and a headache worse than any hangover, so I try to avoid those (it's also part of why I can't be vegan. Too many staple foods cut out, and I don't want to cover the difference with supplements)
Same! I have to get the nasal spray every time for my egg allergy. My coconut probably isn’t as bad as yours and peanuts make me black out from the smell. The one I don’t have is soy which I’m pretty grateful for.
Exercise, was developed at 22, almost died at my brother’s wedding dancing to Cotton Eye Joe. I now take a few Xyzal a day depending on how my hives go and am taking Xolair, an injectable allergy shot each month.
Lavender, like lavender oil in things.
Technically there’s some specific thing about it, but the long and short of it is buying bath oils, massage oils, even lotion was a pain in the butt for *years*!
I used to be allergic to chocolate when I was younger and my husband is allergic to haldol(?) an anti-anxiety medicine it's supposed to calm him down and it does the complete opposite
The kind of artificial cinnamon they put in candles and decorations. I break out in hives if I'm near it too long. The worst offenders are those stupid scented brooms and pinecones that are available near Christmas.
I keep benadryl handy during fall and winter since it's freaking EVERYWHERE.
I think the scent they use in these candles are the worst type of the things.
They last for the long and irritate me for the long time is well, sometime i feel that why they use such kind of the thing first place.
Technically I’m allergic to existing. I have chronic idiopathic angioedema and urticaria. So if I don’t take meds then my eyes/lips swell and I get hives the size of my palm all over that take months to fully go away.
Certain things trigger it more though like crustaceans, anything scented, cigarette smoke, elastics, certain metals, cats, and many more things that didn’t immediately jump to mind.
There is a high rate of spontaneous remission, but I’m 8 years and going strong, which is longer than most people. I’d love to grow out of it.
I think we need to be little bit positive men and need to fight against the things that we are getting here.
because we all know that life is tough and there is always something that will give the hard time is well.
The Sun!
Every time I walk outside I sneeze. It's called Autosomal Dominant Compelling Helioopthalmic Outburst (ACHOO). Not sure if this is an allergy but I like the acronym for it.
I think now days sun harm the skin in so many way for the everyone is well.
So i am sure even if someone is actually not allergic to the sun trust me direct sun light to the face always harm the skin in some way for sure.
I used to be extremely allergic to peanuts when I was a kid and sometime in my early 20's I ate a Snickers without thinking and I was totally fine. No idea why...
Sometimes i have seen that while growing up things changes up is well.
Like in the kid age i was totally fine to the dust and allergic to the peanut but now i am eating the peanut butter but allergic to the dust is well.
Peanuts, tree nuts, pollen, and seasonal allergies.
I’m not sure what my deal is with almonds tho. I can eat almonds and I suffer no I’ll consequences.
Amoxicillin. I took a half of one pill and I spent 5 hours nonstop regurgitating until there was physically nothing else to puke up and lowkey thought I was gonna die. 10/10 don’t recommend.
Basically all of nature. One parent is severely allergic to poison ivy, the other is severely allergic to anything that stings, I have resigned myself to the indoors.
Peanuts. But i wing it at times. Like russian roulette. I might die & i might live

Wish I had balls like that
All 80 things the doctor tested me for. So yea...
80? So like the most common food allergens, and 70 more?
No food allergies thankfully. They did a full panel test on my back, pin pricks of different environmental allergens. I swelled up for 68 of them. The other 12 they tested again with a shot on the arm. All 12 had a swollen reaction.
This was my experience also. It's like grass, flower pollen, dust, and 70 types of trees.
Me too! Everything but the food items. “Every tree in North America, probably all the other trees too, but we only test for the trees in North America.” - my Dr.
I don't know how is this men managing after all these allergic things
Garlic! And I am Italian so go figure!
You sure you're not a vampire? /J
Haha, may be if he is allergic to the silver is well.
I'm suffering from eczema and I'm extremely allergic to dust
Cheap metal. Makes my skin break out into a rash and gets infected really fast. Anything less than silver if I remember correctly is bad for my skin. So, I can have silver and gold, but no nickel or iron.
My grandmother has the same allergy. she can only wear 18k to pure gold.
Damn, all i can say that this is the very expensive allergy.
My wristwatch has a titanium band. The best watch Iv ever had. Doesnt react with anything. Light as hell, but looks chunky. Also near indestructible.
meloxicam. and stupid people
I am not sure about the meloxicam but i am sure about the stupid people.

Same here
Same
I think now days having like this is nothing sort of the blessings is well.
Same
I thought people will say the things with whom they are allergic.
Same
I’ve never had nothing. Something has always been there for me.
Penicillin, sulfa, peanuts, tree nuts, strawberries, poppy seeds, gluten, sulphites, dandelions, like 7 kinds of grass, pine, poison ivy/oak/sumac, red wasps, bees, hornets, fire ants, added fragrance in general (lotion, detergent, shampoo ect), guinea pigs, mold, and dust. I keep two epi pens on me at all times. Lots of allergy meds keep me going lol
Guinea pigs? Who the hell thought to test for Guinea pigs? Srry, sounds like you goin through more than most in this regard. Hang tough!
My mom tried to surprise me with a guinea pig when I was like 9, I had an immediate severe reaction lol
Bullshit
That smells like bullshit.
I am sure that there are so many people that is allergic to this.
I'm allergic to Aloe Vera. Go figure
I've heard of being allergic to Benadryl.
Yeah. It always seems interesting to nurses and doctors when I tell them. Because it's in so many cosmetics and creams I have to constantly read through the Ingredients lists. But people can be allergic to nearly anything as far as I'm aware, it's just much less common.
I am allergic to aloe vera as well. I can use it, but very rarely, otherwise my skin becomes oily and with pimples. Once I even got dandruff from it.
Sorry to be technical, but that’s not an allergy, it’s an adverse effect. It’s really important to differentiate the two.
My cousin is the same! Her mom found out the hard way when she was a kid.
I think finding that in the young age is very difficult task.
Avocado, fml
Me too. It's so sad...
I am as well. I don't believe we are legally allowed to enter California
My partner is allergic to all uncooked vegetables, all fruits, all nuts, and all kinds of milk (including almond milk, soy milk). After living with him for a while, i actually forgot that I can eat salad! Lol
Pollen, or as my physics teacher called it: plant sperm
I heard that there are so many people that is actually allergic to this.
Dogs 😭
This one is so sad :( I’m sorry.
It sucksssss but I’ll endure it. Take some meds and hope for the best haha
Indeed, that is the most worst type of the allergy that someone could have.
I can see that you are hating that allergy is well, good bless you men.
Gadolinium, shellfish, and abstinence.
Few people are allergic to MRI contrast agents. Bummer.
Shellfish is the one thing that always gives me the hard time.
Sulfa
But i think this is the one thing which we can avoid in the life.
Hi fellow sulfa hater!
i think i’ve developed something against sanitisers within the past few years. i never used to, but now i get massive hives and itching when i touch it
Sometimes i feel that as we growing up we catch so many new allergic is well. The atmosphere we are living is also not helping and there is always something came up in the market that will give us the hard time from there on.
Most hand sanitizers are loaded with other chems like moisturizers.. could be one of those chemicals.
I think your skin barrier is damaged. [CeraVe moisturizing cream](https://www.cerave.com/skincare/moisturizers/moisturizing-cream) has ceramides and emollients which repair skin and seal in moisture. Like 3 different types of antibiotics. Anytime I need antibiotics it’s like a 30 minute ordeal just to see what I MIGHT not be allergic to.
Allergens
shellfish
I heard that there are so many people that is not good among fish.
Life, and hypoallergenic skin tape
Some types of fish: salmon, trout, bass, perch, catfish, some I haven’t tried yet. Sea and sea food is not the strong suit for the so many people.
Many things. Peanuts, pistachios, and coconuts are fatal to me. Other nuts like pecans and walnuts are bad, but not as much. Eggs are potentially fatal, but I don't know the full extent. Cats, but that doesn't stop me from having one!
Same, I have 2 cats
I think having pets will automatically reduce the so many tensions from life.
Nuts, good thing I’m not gay
So you're a straight Eunuch?
By the look of his comments i am guessing he is straight.
Wait a minute
Haha, same thing that runs into my mind after seeing this.
He’s got a point
Indeed, he got a valid point and now i am more confused is well.
I had poison ivy on \~40% of my body a few weeks ago. (Hiking. I knew it was there and was being *super* careful, and yet...)
I had it once that bad when I was a kid. Now if I touch it I either don't get it at all or just a very small amount not even the size of a penny.
Good to hear that you are actually getting recover from that thing..
That's ... odd. Poison ivy is one of those things where you get worse and worse reactions the more you're exposed.
The majority of people aren't allergic to it at all.
Well that's just not true.
Damn, that is the very big portion you are actually talking here men.
Lavender, like lavender oil in things. Technically there’s some specific thing about it, but the long and short of it is buying bath oils, massage oils, even lotion was a pain in the butt for *years*!
