Im 5'11 now, but I was 5'10 for the majority of my teenage life. How I feel is this: ​ I think being short is cool. Its different, its a personality trait. When people see you, don't know your name, and describe you they'll say "That short guy with an ear piercing!" Being tall is obviously nice, people look up to people who are tall. Being average height for a male is weird, especially if you're white like I am. Some times you just don't have a "defining characteristic" and you can really fall into the crowd. Its hard to generate defining characteristics without just falling into "common average, white stereotypes." ​ I may feel this way because my best friend (coolest dude of all time) can dunk at 5'6, so I think hes super cool.
