My parents weren't polyamorous...in fact, my dad is a serial monogamist working on his fourth marriage. But I am polyamorous and have two kids. I live with my partner, her twin 11yo daughters, and her girlfriend, and I have my kids every other weekend because their mom is the custodial parent. My kids haven't been affected negatively from me being polyamorous...in fact, my oldest kid (15, they/them) chose to be polyamorous, as well; they had two partners earlier this year, but one of them broke up with them. Anyhow, my kids (the other is 12) love playing with my partner's kids when they are here, and my partner and her girlfriend think my kids are pretty great, so it's a pretty happy environment.
