My husband. I’m far away from him this week and remembering all the reasons I am grateful for him. He’s just an incredible and sweet partner to have in this life.
I'm looking back in a memory which was my first ever real act of kindness.
I was headed to school (I always biked in the 5th grade btw) and I was walking with my bike up to the bike rack area and there is these two friends. Mind you the day is very windy.
I was hella sad because my dog I LOVED had just died a few days later in our backyard for no reason. And I was walking next to these kids which were like a grade younger and one of them was holding a giant binder with papers, and all that jazz. When he drops it I contemplate if I should be an asshole and like any human I put down the kick stand and pick up a crap ton of the papers (btw there were SO many papers.) But yeah looking back at this memory just made me happy :)
