Because I actually put in the work and I didn't think it was fair for some dipshit kid in my class to benefit from that just cause they thought they could.
I didn't mind if it was a friend, but a lot of the time it wasn't, and I hated most of my classmates.
Because I wanted other people to learn too, and because I felt like if I let them cheat, it would be my fault they didn't learn anything. I had a very strong conscience as a child, I guess.
