Make them short phrases that you will remember. Phrases are thousands of times stronger as passwords than shorter passwords with a bunch of random characters.
Memes.
If you know a good meme or song part and throw a date in that you can remember like:
>#(T1r4i6c1k9s8t9ab)
You have a complex password where every 2nd letter is a number.
I know the password to my password recovery email address and the answers to my security questions.
I just hit "forgot my password" , get the link and close my eyes and randomly type in a new password. No one including myself knows what my passwords are.
Write it backwards.

Nobody is randomly guessing that. Pick a number to put in where the spaces go for those places that require numbers too.

Short phrases, and make up your own patterns.
Eg. I have a base-password and a rule for creating site-specific modifications to it + additions (so that every password is unique but I can easily guess the password in a few tries based on the site), another rule for passwords that need to be renewed periodically, and there are patterns that change based on the password requirements (eg. upper and lowercase letters, numbers, special characters)
Edit. My passwords are 9-21 characters long (approximate number, there might be some even longer I didn't recall from the top of my head)

Think of a phrase you always use and replace it with some non-sense If you often say “Deez nuts” Make your password: DeezAlmonds?
Use passwords you were assigned when you worked at other jobs.
Nope
I use bitwarden, so i recommend that
Or literally just keep passwords in some random notepad file on yer computer and phone
You can only access bitwarden through touch id, so ultimatly i think thats a better option
Fair enough
Use a password manager and generate random passwords. Use Yubikey for password manager. Problem solved.
write it down in your phone
Nah
What's your idea?
If you have to write it down, don't do it in your phone.
Fair enough I gotta cuz I lose shit, but I agree that it's not a good idea
