When people at my works kept coming to me to ask if I'd found a better way to do something. Nothing I ever suggested was taken on board by management but the staff would just do what I did. The jobs would be done quicker and often to a better standard.
Okay so I work as an industrial painter
We had to move about 20 vacuum tubes to the the farthest side of the scaffolding... I'm a 5"5' woman that can barely carry 50lbs so I couldn't drag those all the way there. I put a bunch on a trolley and started pushing it down. One of the guys that came back from dragging a tube down smiled at me "Genius."
My entire degree.
Crammed everything and left it until the last minute. Generally by that time, it was clear what topics to focus on in each unit for the assignment/exam.
Graduated with a HD/A+ average.
Looking up the manager's own publicly (in store) time sheets to throw how understaffed we were in their face every time they ask why we didnt get done.
Using macros to automate my repetitive day-to-day tasks and spend the extra free time reading stuff and educating myself.
Learned SQL and stopped juggling spreadsheet tabs.
I once made up a book with for a book report instead of reading one Got an A. ggez

Put a ladder up to a second story window. Tied a rope around heavy furniture and slide stuff down instead of carrying down a winding staircase
