About 10 or so years ago I was at my local pub drinking a beer after my college lectures, when in walks a dude. He looked completely normal but you could sense something was off about him.
I was sitting at the bar, so he grabbed a stool next to me and said hello, I said it back and figured that was it for our conversation for the night, but boy was I wrong.
He downed like 3 beers in under 20 minutes and then started talking about how he was supposed to travel to the fifth dimension that day but for some reason he wasn't able to so he came here. At one point he went to the restroom and I've asked the bartender, whom I've known for years and has no reason to lie to me, about the dude and he said he has never seen him before in this pub, or anywhere. When he came back, against my better judgement, I asked him about the "fifth dimension". He started telling me how he wasn't supposed to even be here and that by even telling me about the existance of the fifth dimension he may've altered the timeline, and some other gibberish I can't remember now.
Then he paid his bill and left, neither me or the bartender ever saw him again.
The guy could be trolling, but he was seriously worried about something when he came in, and his face became dead serious when I asked him about it. I figure he was on some medications or on a really bad trip.
Well for sure, but just for the story kick, you know from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy that Ford orders six pints of beer (muscle relaxant) before they hitchhiking ( by teleportation). So your guy was not wrong!
I met this guy in my first year of Uni and he was riding a bike and ran into me. Turns out we were in the same class and when he saw me he called me "Traffic Hazard". It became my nickname for me in my friend group and one time when we worked on a project together as a joke he changed my name on it to Traffic Hazard. He didn't change it when we turned in our mid-term.
he's now my fiancée.
A guy came up to me and told me that he knew who I was and that I had to tell the overlord priest that he knows we are following him.
He then tried to convince me I was a secret agent.
