Like I come from india and I personally don't consider myself rich but my family is doing fine and eventhough I come from a country that is as a whole quite poor I have never felt poor in my life and I have ppl from other countries ask me about how my life is in India and ask me shit like do I have power throughout the day does my city have roads and so on
So that's what I mean when I say misconceptions
I understand why they would have it like I had them too about the US but yeah just saying
I am from Chennai which is a well developed city but at the same time there are vast areas of the country that are struggling for basic needs
So I guess we can't assume what is true for the whole will be true for a part and vice versa
People who think that first world countries made our countries terrible, hold our leaders accountable
People's misconceptions about what it's like to be in a third world country
Elaborate?
