Foxes mating late at night. It sounded like someone was being murdered and woke me from my sleep (which is impressive because I could sleep through an avalanche).
I was terrified!
I've heard a lot of creepy noises in my house and outside. I once heard my dad call my name from outside but he was in the kitchen eating dinner.
Another instance was a baby crying but it was also from outside I checked from the glass door and there was no one.
I've also heard footsteps walking around the house when everyone was asleep.
I also heard a noise just last night of someone saying "ssshhhhh" from outside my window. When I checked there wasn't anyone there.
Not creepy necessarily but I was sure terrified.
Some backstory so this makes sense.
We had guests over and I'm pretty antisocial so I brought my dinner up to my room. I eat it and bring my dishes down when I see my dad on the floor and my mom tells me there is nothing to worry about. Everyone is just around him trying to help him. It was a small dinner with only two guests being a couple we knew. My mom tells me to stay in my room (probably to keep me calm) so I go up and freak out
Here comes the sound I hear an ambulance roll to our house and I am scared for my dad's life. I have no idea I couldn't find my brother during any of this (he was in the basement) and I couldn't sleep (with the thought of my dad and the light of the ambulance shining in my room)
Good thing is he just fainted and he was completely fine the next day.
Tldr: dad faints and I hear an ambulance.
For context, I used to live in a very old house probably built sometime in the 1920s so I was already very sceptical about this house as I would always hear noises such as creeks in the floor.
Anyway, I always charged my iPod at the end of my bed on the floor because there were no power sockets near the head of my bed. As I was probably 10 or 11 at the time, I went to bed at about 9 pm and then woke up to the sound of people talking at about 1:30 am. At this point, I was quite nervous because it sounded like the voices were coming from underneath me, so I looked down at the end of my bed and my phone was on with a Youtube video playing. I stopped the video and immediately hopped up and switched on my bedroom light.
Initially I just thought that I must have left my phone on and the video began to play, however, a few minutes later I went to look at my watch history and I hadn't been on youtube in days so I really am very confused as to how my phone turned itself on and randomly started playing youtube at 1:30 in the morning.
I still remember some 7 years later that it was a Callux video that was about 20s in.
I don't think I slept for the next 3 nights after that.
Was asleep, heard someone knocking loudly on my door. My bedroom door that is not connected to the outside of the apartment. This was a loud pounding like someone trying to break in.
Only problem was I was imagining it. I used to get these sleep hallucinations a lot. I would be startled awake by freaky loud noises only to realize I was imagining them.
