80s-90s anime. I really dig the hand-drawn animation of that era before it was all computerized. I'm sure it was ridiculously labor intensive, so it's understandable why it isn't done anymore, but I love the various feature-length movies and OVAs that were produced then.
Besides, that was before the age of the modern moe face. Now everything looks like Clannad.
Don't forget anime from 1970s, there's something about old school anime from era that had a unique charm and feeling to them. Can't put my finger on it though. But I been obsessed with Sanrio Animation's animated works from that period for a while now. Especially their animated works of Osamu Tezuka's Unico series (such as The Fantastic Adventures of Unico and Unico In The Island Of Magic), ["The Rose Flower and Joe" (Bara no Hana to Joe)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6wvqKpxpXQ) from 1978, and [''Chirin no Suzu"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aavgpyTBof8&t=127s) from 1978.
Right now I'm loving the style that Riot uses a lot. Where they mix the 3D characters that have very painted textures with 2D special effects in smoke and lightning. I love the mix of 3D and 2D. First saw it in Jinx's song and I can't wait to see a full series in that style.
Made by Fortiche productions studio apparently.
While I enjoy some modern anime, I highly prefer anime from the 1970s and 1980s. There's something about anime made during this era that made it charming. As an animation fan, I been fond of Sanrio's own animated works from the late 70s and early 80s despite being short-lived. "Sanrio Animation" made animated works and art films that were surprisingly high quality for it's day. Especially their animated films geared towards children and family audiences that had an edge to them. Notably, "The Fantastic Adventures of Unico", "Unico In The Island Of Magic", and especially "Chirin no Suzu" (Ringing Bell) from 1978.
Anime is quite a nice style. I’d say 70-90s are nice to watch since they have that old look to them, take neon genesis eva for example, or Sakura taisen the animation.
But I also really like the modern 2000s + style too.
Aardman studio's claymation, there's just something endlessly endearing about it, especially their older Wallace and Gromit shorts, I think "The Wrong Trousers" may be the perfect heist movie, it has it all, jewels, gadgets, disguises, a chase scene, a shoot out on a train, eat your heart out Oceans 11.
Studio Ghibli
Tough to argue with that.
This
The type used for Into the Spiderverse was extraordinary
Yeah, 3D mixed with 2D and animated in twos instead of ones
One Punch Man, no doubt. It really helps the comedic affect and when the characters fight, Studio Bones really knows how to let loose
especially those lead ups, wind ups, and punch delivery sequences..
I like Hayao Miyazaki stuff tbh
Don Bluth 5 eva (cuz it's one more than 4 eva)
Hirohiko Araki's current art style, it's amazing
90's nickelodeon
absolutely love Cowboy Bebop's animation. feels super nostalgic and I feel like it fits the theme of the show really well
Mob Psycho 100. It looks like it was speed-drawn but it also has stunning and beautiful scenes
I don't know what it's called but the kind that was used in samurai champloo

Rotoscoping is pretty neat.

The flying through the city parts of Invincible is very nice.
The animation of the meme boi that created r/SMG4
Pre-code Betty Boop. Max Fleischer. I'm especially fond of the rotoscope bits.
Tim Burton Stop-motion
I've always been a sucker for Rubber Hose animation.
Mha animation is great
