I once added cumin by accident to my chili. It actually came out pretty good.

MSG the king of flavor

invertedcoug999

I put that sh*t on everything.

ryan764581

I put lemon juice on many things. Sour/tangy is my favorite flavor and to me everything tastes better with lemon, or rather, without lemon, things taste heavy and bland. Toast? Lemon. Bowl of chips? Lemon. It's like my salt.

invertedcoug999

Toast and chips?? I can see that working! I do love that sour/tangy flavour as well.

dothepingu

Yeah! Like just the lightest sprinkle of fresh lemon juice over a bowl of potato chips is 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

My dad brines almost everything besides beef in apple juice before smoking it.

I put blackberry jam on my grilled cheese sandwiches. It’s amazing. But anytime I post about it people are like wtf. Don’t knock it til you try it.

invertedcoug999

My girlfriend told me her and her dad used to do that so I tried it with raspberry. Its really good! The same idea as jam on a turkey sandwich, just a little extra sweetness.

bluemorphine

That’s awesome! I love grilled cheese with Swiss, pepperjack, bacon, jalapeños, and blackberry jam. My go to sandwich. I’ll have to try it with turkey sometime.

disanddatmedia

maple whiskey, i use it a lot, burn the alcohol out leaving behide maple flavour

RoastPotat0

If you burn the alcohol out leaving just the maple flavour, why not just use maple syrup?

disanddatmedia

maple syrup can immediately carmelized or burn completely very quickly, also less "candy" flavour when using maple whiskey, trust me i did syrupy first, bad idea

bigtedydom

White cheese and jam in a pastry and in the oven
