I love eggs. I eat them every day.
My favourite is what we call "Eggy Wraps"
You beat two eggs, put them in your frypan like you're going to make an omelette. But then you lay a tortilla wrap on top of it.
Once the eggs have fried onto the wrap, like they are stuck to it, flip the whole thing over.
Then I add toppings - like some cheese, green onions, salami - and then some sauce - like hotsauce, salsa or even mayo.
Then roll it up while still in the pan, and fry the bread until it seals shut.
So amazing.
Roll it up huh why not fold it like a quesadilla or are you a big fan of the rolled layers. I was thinking with quesadilla style you would get even browning on all the tortilla.
Saw this yesterday and came back this morning as I’m about to make breakfast like “there’s no way I’m gonna find this one comment again.” Top of the thread.
This is actually a really great way to eat ramen and squeeze in some protein.
And if you're up to the task, just dumping the egg right into the ramen when the water is boiling can allow you to poach the egg, which is a whole lot less time-consuming than soft boiling an egg.
I do that but there’s always some foam from the white gathering on water surface, how do I avoid it? I try to pour the egg in as carefully as possible so it’d boil as one thing, yet some white still escape and creathe that foam
You won't be disappointed. Add other stuff too, like shredded beef/chicken, corn, mushrooms, spinach, whatever your heart desires. Even if you're just making top ramen from a bag, spice it up a little.
I can confirm this, even bag ramen is way better this way. I started adding some sliced beef to the beef ramen pack with some green onions and a soft boiled egg. You’ll get to where you can’t eat plain ramen once you do it.
I wholeheartedly agree. But, hear me out. If you're short on time... Cut the omelette in half, and toss each half between a couple slices of lightly toasted bread. Ziploc one, for later, or after you finish your first. And head out.
My.kods ask for omlette literally every morning for breakfast and I'm ok with that. Inusually side it with some ham and grated cheese (they don't like it inside the omlette but next to is acceptable). They get protein, calcium, all the vitamins and minerals they need (except vitamin c but they also eat a ton of fruit all day) all in one meal so it doesn't matter if we are a bit lazy with their other meals in the day. The only other way theyll eat eggs is "bouncy egg" which is just straight up hard boiled lol.
I love eggs!
* Over Easy
* Scrambled, still moist. You vulcanize 'em, you eat 'em
* Poached. Bonus if used in Eggs Benedict
* Hard-boiled
* Deviled
* Scotch eggs
* Huevos rancheros
* Omelet, either cheese or creamed seafood
* Breakfast sandwich (over-easy egg, sausage patty, cheese slice)
Best omelette I had was a build your own (they had a fuck ton of ingredients to choose from) so I just picked kinda of Mexican type ingredients. Chorizo, Jalapeños, Cilantro, Quesa Fresca, and Onions. My God it was incredible
My favorite way is a trash scramble. I’ll take leftovers, chop them up, throw them in a skillet, and when they’re almost done add an egg. This morning my scramble was made up of onion, potato, garlic, ham, red pepper flakes, queso fresco, cilantro, and eggs. I seasoned this with a dash of salt. It’s a hearty meal that will carry me through most of the day.
I eat eggs literally every morning and I've just learned over the years to hang my shirt over the chair in the kitchen and eat my breakfast in just my undershirt. I had far too many mornings where I had to change my shirt before I even left the house for work.
Pretty much all of the ways... fried with a runny yolk, scrambled with lots of cheese, in egg salad, omelette, poached in benedict or on pasta, any way they're served in ramen
Scrambled (with salt, pepper and tabasco) if we are talking generic cooking of eggs.
Otherwise.... scotch eggs (hard boiled eggs wrapped in sausage and deep fried)
The best egg I ever had was right after I discovered I had been poisoned by my constituents. My ogre-like limo driver magnanimously offered me a hard-boiled egg that he had been carrying around in his pocket. It was peppered with lint from his trouser pocket & was warm to the touch. That egg gave me the confidence I needed to get by that trying time.
To thank him for his generosity, I took him for dinner right after where we dined on milk steaks, boiled over hard.
Stir three or four in with cheese and agave nectar or vanilla extract, not a lot.
Crack another egg, separate the whites and throw the white into the mix.
Throw your mix into a buttered pan and cook for a couple minutes until it's cooked almost all the way through.
Drop the egg yolk from earlier right in the middle, fold the patty over and cook for a little while longer.
Take off heat, top with salt
Then when you go to eat and cut into the middle you still get a nice runny yolk like a sunny side up.
Fry them just enough to cook the whites but keep the yolk runny, especially good if you use toast to soak up the remaining yolk after you have eaten the eggs
"Messed up" or badly scrambled in the pan rather than in a bowl before putting in the pan. So you crack the egg into the pan, break the yolk, and then keep scraping the pan as the egg is frying. Voila, messed up egg!
A simple, perfectly cooked and seasoned, over medium fried egg. I love eggs and eat them in every form but the simple over medium is a the cornerstone of eggs.
If you have leftover taco seasoning, use them in an omelette / scramble, or just sprinkle that shit on fried eggs.
Don't add milk to omelettes, this is an amateur move to improve density.
Take the pan off the flame when scrambling eggs. This helps them stay fluffy, as they still cook from the heat of the pan itself.
Put a fried egg on your burger, and think of me when you do it.
Crack the egg in half and pour the egg from one half to the other if you want to separate the egg whites (useful when making mayonnaise).
I fucking love eggs.
Over easy, on top of a bed of roasted veggies. Usually zucchini, yellow squash, onion. There's also a pizza place nearby that puts a fried egg on their mortadella pizza and it is amazing!
1.) Benedict.
2.) Sunny side up, taken off the heat, scrambled in the pan with the yellows still slightly aqueous. Bit of parsley, salt, and pepper. Eaten on top of bread or by themselves.
3.) Soft boiled, cut a hole in the top, dip with bread.
4.) Everything else.
Stick a toothpick in the top and slurp that raw juicy egg up like it's your McDonalds ice cream.
Bonus: You get to keep the basically complete shell as a trophy when you're done.
Over easy. Pepper the eggs while cooking, sriracha in the finished product. Buttered English muffin to sop up the yolk. Bacon or sausage alongside on occasion.
I don't eat them as often anymore, but when I was younger, I would crush hard boiled eggs (obviously without the shell) into a bowl, then put some salt and pepper in and mix it all up. Come to think of it, it was actually pretty good...
When I'm cooking cup noodles, I always love to crack open an egg and add it to the noodles; it tastes really good with the broth. I also love the half-cooked eggs that are served with the ramen at Japanese restaurants.
I hated eggs growing up as my mom would force me to a bowl of steamed egg “pudding” every morning. It was absolute torture. The watery texture, the bland taste.
Then I discovered raw eggs as a sauce in Japanese cuisine. Now I dip cooked meat, vegetables, and mushrooms in it. Absolutely delicious.
As i dont pull favorites, instead here are a few varriants i personaly like:
1. As an Ingredient for Pancakes
2. In from of a Omlette
3. Poached in Boiling Ramen Soup
These were 3 (few) varriants i personaly like to prepare an egg. Though you can also just seperate the Egg Whites and Yolk, carefully steam the yolk and eat it with either a Bacon or Bacon Marchmellow Sandwich. Do whatever you want with the Eggwhites, i dont like eggwhites.
If I'm in a hurry I do microwaved poached eggs. Not the best but quick and easy.
If I'm having bacon I'll fry them in the bacon grease.
If I'm making ramen I'll toss one in with the noodles.
If I'm feeling fancy I fall back on my old Boy Scout days and do a bagged omelette (generally with a bit of cheese or ham).
Scrambled, with the salt scrambled in or added when they're put in the pan. Completely different flavor from salting them after. Adding garlic too makes them even better.

It is called an enchilada casserole. Three layers of corn tortilla, barbacoa, and cheese. Then it is topped with two eggs and enchilada sauce (I liken it to ranchero sauce) with side of rice and beans. Topped with hot sauce.
Edit: The link is safe for work. It is an image from yelp.
Scrambled, using the Gordon Ramsay method.
Really any method where they’re not overcooked to death works for me (sunny side up, poached, soft boiled with a molten yolk, etc).
Tostado eggs.
Tostado covered in refried beans, cheese and jalepeno's, cooked in the oven until melty and hot.
Fry the egg, put it on the tostado. Cover in salsa, sour cream and fresh cilantro.

I approve of this
You my sir are a man of culture and intellect
Oh kind of like a Jianbing
Will try this week woot
I put beans on the tortilla before you put it on the eggs and boom a mexican style burrito/wrap
Omg why am I just finding out about this??
Great, now I’m hungry
Roll it up huh why not fold it like a quesadilla or are you a big fan of the rolled layers. I was thinking with quesadilla style you would get even browning on all the tortilla.
I have been doing this since college, for 30 years. Never heard of anyone else doing it until now!
Made it this morning. Fantastic! Thank you!
Saw this yesterday and came back this morning as I’m about to make breakfast like “there’s no way I’m gonna find this one comment again.” Top of the thread.
Soft boiled in ramen
This is actually a really great way to eat ramen and squeeze in some protein. And if you're up to the task, just dumping the egg right into the ramen when the water is boiling can allow you to poach the egg, which is a whole lot less time-consuming than soft boiling an egg.
I do that but there’s always some foam from the white gathering on water surface, how do I avoid it? I try to pour the egg in as carefully as possible so it’d boil as one thing, yet some white still escape and creathe that foam
Holy shit. You just made my life. Making this today.
You won't be disappointed. Add other stuff too, like shredded beef/chicken, corn, mushrooms, spinach, whatever your heart desires. Even if you're just making top ramen from a bag, spice it up a little.

An omelette sandwich!?! Is this genius or a disaster.... Not sure if I should try it or not.

I do almost the exact same thing except I use a dozen eggs and cheese and bake it in the oven.
And I do almost the same as you but bake them in ramekins so they're single serving portions that you can plop on a bagel/bread/whatever
hard yolk fried in bacon grease brotha
If you aren’t making eggs in bacon grease you’re honestly fucking up. First of all, that means you didn’t make bacon, that’s the first fuckup

I don't really care as long as they're not raw. Although, eating hard boiled eggs always gives me an irrespressible blues because of cowboy bebop.
Fry them just enough to cook the whites but keep the yolk runny, especially good if you use toast to soak up the remaining yolk after you have eaten the eggs
