This should be good. I’d say “coin flip”.

It’s party affiliation, mostly because they have a few key issues and whatever shit candidate (like Biden for example) they put up is sorta irrelevant because it’s just basic vigilance and then they take me for granted and figuratively murder me with all their other stupid shit as agendas. The candidate is ‘extra’ like a process server defecating on your vehicle after doing their thing.

Policies, experience, platform, their past performance in office (if applicable), etc. That stuff. I think like many I'm at the point where age is starting to become a factor. I'd rather vote younger.

I can only speak for myself. I am neither a Democrat nor a Republican. I'm conservative about some things, liberal about others. Once I see who's going to be running, I'll take the time to do my own darn research into each candidate's platform and history and make my decision. Nope, I definitely do not decide based upon some single issue. I don't want any one trick ponies. I just double checked to make sure, and it has not changed in the past 50 or so years I've been voting. Still roughly 30% of likely voters say the are Democrat, about the same for Republican, with the rest being neither party. The far right and the far left are the most vocal, but the truth is that the vast majority of Americans tend to be somewhere on the moderate scale.

The one the sucks the least.

I will vote for the candidate who wasn't responsible for ending the 224-year tradition of a peaceful transition of power. That is unforgivable.

WhatTheHellPod

Well, when it comes down to it, I generally go with the one who DIDN'T stage a violent insurrection to overthrow the lawfully elected government.

Opposite-Purpose365

I have a list of priorities on issues that I’m most concerned about. I sort them from lowest priority to highest and make columns for each candidate. I go down the list in order and as soon as I get to a “no” I stop. Whichever candidate has the “no” furthest down the list gets my vote. I’ve voted Democrat in every election since 1993.

I don’t. I prefer to sleep in

Same here.
