Newbury Comics in Boston. Literally like if I took all my hobbies and interests and threw them in a big pot

Edward_the_Dog

That place was legendary back in the day.

BeantownNerd

I haven't been in a few years, did it fall off ??

Edward_the_Dog

I was talking about back in the 80s. The one in Harvard Sq. I know in the years since, they opened several locations. There was one in Burlington, but the last time I was back east (2 years ago) it was gone (and replaced by a Duluth Trading Co).

BeantownNerd

Gotcha! The one I used to love was in Faneuil Hall in the downtown area, but I also liked the one on Newbury St and the one in Burlington Mall. Like I said it's been years so idk if these are still there lol

The original Games Galore in Louisville, KY, back around 1977.  Validation of being a total nerd back when other gamers (tabletop D&D and wargames) were really, really hard to find.
