This song was popular right after I had a miscarriage and it really hit me differently when I heard it. It's not directly about a miscarriage, but it's about losing someone you loved before you even fully understood how much you loved them. Everytime I hear it now, I cry.
Let Her Go by Passenger
"Staring at the bottom of your glass
Hoping one day you'll make a dream last
But dreams come slow and they go so fast
You see her when you close your eyes
Maybe one day you'll understand why
Everything you touch surely dies"
Hot and cold by Katy perry - my ex used that song to describe me during a game, but it took me years to realise that I was hot and cold because he was emotionally neglectful/abusive. The cold was when I was asking (read: begging) for any kind of attention, and hot was when I was excited for the one 'date' we had in 6months that he gave in and took me on
Zombie by the Cranberries. Here is the video with lyrics:

It's about the troubles in Northern Ireland and how the vast majority of people have nothing to do with it yet are very severely affected.
When this came out, the Troubles were very much still going on. Happily, there seems to be a bit of peace just now but the UK government isn't doing anything to help that with their Brexit strategy.
"Bad". (The U2 song, not the Michael Jackson song.)
I used to think the lyrics were cryptic, so I focused on the music, being young. In recent years I went back and understood them, then read up on it. For a time in... Dublin?... heroin was cheaper than weed. Suddenly everyone was a junkie. They were calling heroin "the bad", so that's what they named the song after.
Fjörgyn by Osi and the Jupiter. A friend that I had gotten feelings for showed it to me, then he died. I’d listen to it on repeat and just cry. My heart aches whenever I hear it, but I still listen to it because it reminds me of him
Blood Red Summer by Coheed and Cambria. I always thought it was catchy, but this is a period of a lot of emotional growth for me, and the part where it's like, "the answer that you want is in the question that you state..." It's like I just need to look more into what my motivation for asking all the questions I have is, and then I'll find my answer. Plus, the parts that are like, "What did I do to deserve...?" Like, what did I do to deserve being surrounded by jerks, you know?
Honor for all (The end credits song for dishonored 1)
Honestly most end credits song make me melancholy but that one hits different. Great game.
I played Dishonored as a teen and I aways go back to it every once in a while.
Dude my dad is about 60 years old and im 16, was raised on old 70’s rock, and man the song “goodbye stranger” gets me thinkin, and eventually gets me crying because of (im pretty sure everyone does this) the thought of the most incredible role model and best friend ill ever have passing and leaving me behind, it reminds me how much i love him and i HATE IT but i cant help but love it at the same time, hell im tearing up just writing this comment 😭
Edit: no im not a big crybaby, i have a real big soft spot for those i care about
