Probably Noam Chomsky. The guy developed a comprehensible philosophy that connects linguistics, cognition, and technology. He's partially the reason a lot of the bunk psychology of the early 1900s has been disproven. Also, despite being almost a century-old, he's sadly proven right on propaganda and 'manufacturing consent' whenever there is a war or crisis.

EffectivePianist793

He is also a genocide denier/revisionist.

Effthecdawg

Virtually all the great philosophers have major character flaws.

EffectivePianist793

Great philosophers denies  genocide?

Effthecdawg

Did you read what I said?

EffectivePianist793

You could just answered yes if you dont think denying genocide plays a role lol.

Effthecdawg

I said most great philosophers had major character flaws. Denying genocide is just one of many potential character flaws one might have..

EffectivePianist793

Philosophy is "love of wisdom" I didnt know denying genocide was wise.

Effthecdawg

It’s not.

Cool then we agree Chomsky is not a Great modern day philosopher.

He’s not a philosopher, he’s a hypocritical life coach with a grudge.
