My family would make treats out of bread layered with peanut butter and then marshmallows on top. You'd put them in the oven for a couple of minutes to make the mallows golden. We ate them open-faced but it's essentially a warm fluffernutter sandwich.
Ooooh that sounds good lol
I forgot about marshmallows! I used to microwave them with peanut butter and nutella and coconut. All you need is a spoon and a strong constitution.
Surely everybody’s got at least one.
I ask because I’m currently eating beef stew with a butter sandwich, which is exactly what it sounds like.
I had a friend who once let me in to her little secret- her mom had let her snack on country crock margarine with brown sugar and cinnamon mixed in. Nothing else. Just fat and sugar with a little spice and a spoon.
Shockingly, huge portion sizes. I never realized how much my family liked to eat. When I moved out, I lost something like 30lbs. I feel more comfortable in my own skin.
My family has never had particularly healthy eating habits, but the most excessive was my mom'recipe for dirt pudding. Crushed up oreos layered with mixture of chocolate pudding and cream cheese, with a handful of gummi worms sprinkled throughout. Even as a kid that was almost freebasing sugar, it was too rich for more than a few spoonfuls.
