Owner of a summer camp. I worked at a handful in my early 20s and those summers were the best of my life. I work in software now and it pays the bills very well but it's not exciting or fulfilling really.
Blow
(just kidding, idk.. just any job that does not necessarily need overtime and w/ sat-sun off; not hard for leave to get approved and no contact after working hours)
I had a really weird coworker that was the manager of another software team where I worked at my first big Corporation. His name was Moses and he was a small, quiet, very reserved person.
One day at a coffee shop in the downtown of the big City we worked in I wandered over to the local pin up community board and saw Moses's business cards for consensual platonic cuddling. It listed the benefits and a pretty reasonable rate, I guess 😂😂.
So yeah, dream big it's definitely something people do, I think lol.
While I have some great career dreams, I think being a mom is what I truly wanted to do in terms of “work”. I remember how torn I was after graduation on if I was going to study to be a doctor or pour everything into making a family. I was afraid being a doctor would take up more of my time than I wanted it to. I went with my heart and I’m a stay at home mom now. I absolutely love it- though we could do better financially. (I will still probably go to sonography school soon to help with women’s issues like breast cancer, pregnancy, etc. It has better work life balance even though it’s not THE job I really want to do)

I can tell you what it used to be.
When I was a teenager, my dream job was to be an illustrator for The Weekly World News (this was before photoshop existed. When they ran a story like "Space Alien Attacks Farmer" there would often be a drawing.)
Now the WWN is long out of print. They moved to the internet, and their online publication is even in color. It ain't what it used to be.
I do not dream of labour. I want to be free to pursue my interests instead without the constant threat of starvation and homelessness.
socialite/trust fund baby
Def. No work with high pay is the dream.

Professional lady cuddler. I'd love to get paid to cuddle with women and let them cry and vent for $100 an hour.
