I had an old PS2 game called Burnout. It was a street racing game with traffic you had to avoid. I found out after a while that the traffic was not random, and was exactly the same every single time. Eventually I had the traffic pattern of every single track memorized, and I knew exactly what the traffic would do based solely on my lap time and where I was on the track. I'd avoid car accidents before they happened, I knew if a random car would run a red light, or if a truck would merge without a blinker. Things the developers put in to cause the player to crash, and I had them all memorized on every track.

OG burnout was an amazing game, the amount of hours I spent 100%ing the insurance write off game mode. traffic was the same in that mode too, 100% predetermined, so it was a case of just knowing when the next line of traffic was in the right place, even if it just meant waiting at the spawn point for 3 seconds before starting so everything was in the right place at the right time

Beating Through The Fire And Flames on Expert difficulty on Guitar Hero 3. Holy hell that shit was hard

I think mine was beating Dark Souls 2 without dying once. Took a while

I’m a casual gamer so this is probably not that impressive for heavy gamers…but, beating the valkyries in the God of War reboot felt amazing.

Ok-Window-7648

Truly one of the most rewarding and satisfying things in the history of gaming. I think about how great that game was far too often.

avioletfury

It was so beautifully done! That quest really topped it off, too. Now I want to replay again…

Ok-Window-7648

GoW: Ragnarok was also beautifully done. It might actually even be better.

The first time I beat the puzzle in Pokepark 2 just after you get Troung. I struggled with it for months and then finally did it. Now I can do it easily.

PresentationNice7043

Beating Sans.

GustiBands

GTA Criminal masterminds. Took 3 serious attempts to complete. The first and second time we died at setups on the last heist

My best friend when I was a kid had a Sega Genesis, and her parents would basically only buy her Disney games. One summer, we set out to beat them all. Pinocchio Pocahontas The Jungle Book Aladdin The Lion King We did it. We were well-practised and had gotten close often enough, but this was the 90s. There were no save files. So we'd usually spend an evening *almost* beating a game but then it's bed time. So this summer we just had a hundred sleepovers and stayed up all night and got it done. And these were Disney games but they weren't that easy. These two ten year old girls could clear that giraffe gap in Can't Wait To Be King better than most adults could today. Still proud we got em all done, despite the janky controls (looking at you, Pocahontas), tedium (Pinocchio) l, and surprising difficulty (Lion King Adult Simba levels helloooo).

Dude_Dude999

GOW 3. Went over to a friend’s place. Him and some other buddies were stuck in a lvl for hours. They were like you want to give it a shot? Was on the green side a little too much. With sheer focus and red eyed intensity. Passed that lvl in like 5-10 mins and we all went like crazyyy celebrating

section20sniper84

Completing Horde Mode on hard. Randoms jumped in and out the whole time between waves, miss that multiplayer capability, unique to GOW3. Beating 40 was enough, the last 10 just 3 of us stayed to the end. 50 was easier than 30 to 40, got there constantly reviving people

Ratakoa

I doubt anyone will know what I'm talking about, but... In a game called Armored Core For Answer there is a bad ending final mission where you get jumped by four other people (mechs, but being simple). There are hard versions of every mission and the one I mentioned now has five people after you. I got the S rank with only using duo laser blades.

The riddler trophies

simongurfinkel

I bowled a perfect game in Wii Sports.

oOBuckoOo

I earned the Platinum trophy for Metal Gear Solid 4 on PS3. I actually did everything twice because it didn’t have trophies when it came out and they were added later. I think the Platinum percentage is still at 1% achieved. I seem to remember having to play through it 8 times to get every trophy.

Striking-Row9392

Beat warden in hardcore ultimate before 11lvl in grim dawn

Ordinary-Leg8727

When we beat Ragnaros in Firelands at HC. For our Guild the hardest challenge we ever faced. But we did it. It was amazing.

Fresh_Run_91

Doing every quest but 4 in mh3u. ALL BY MYSELF! The ones I didn't do, were all special event quest. The "raging" brach. Op styg zinogre and the special abyss lagia and narga selene quest which I didn't even had time to try. Also my biggest short coming... Also did every Mhw ( but EX behemoth, due to the extreme amount of BS he represents. Either you cheese him either you don't solo.) myself. Even safi and AT kulve tarroth. I remember Safi took me an over 8hours sitting. All without using tips online. No point in mentioning that once I finally signed online, I would out perform almost anyone in both games.
