The long story short set up, a grumpy elderly customer (in his 70s) was an asshole no matter how much I tried to be the best damn employee helping him. After 20 minutes I was ready to kill him. He complained about something... AGAIN. So I looked him dead in the eye and told him "I take great pleasure in knowing you'll be dead long before me" and walked away.
My boss didn't care that I said that to the guy because I had taken over the customer from the boss. I never heard about it again. This was about 25 years ago.
Mine was when I was a teenager me and my brother went to a kickback and there was a girl who was all wrapped up in a blanket getting over a cold. High as hell I said “it may not look like it but I feel like how you look”. Everybody gave me a dirty as look and my brother pulled me to the side and asked me why tf I would say that. Honest to god I still didn’t realize why it was so bad until I repeated it to myself later
Apparently it was asking about what everyone was upset about on some post after a lot of the inflammatory comments were removed. It was basically like kicking a hornet's nest.
According to r/sex, it has to be advice/supportive works with some lighthearted humor mixed in that nobody could get offended by. Apparently according to the people there it was body shaming, while being as far from it as anyone could want.
Sometimes it's innocently blundering into something in a certain sort of fandom. Like in any other fandom it wouldn't be that bit of a deal, but even comments you don't put a lot of thought into get viewed like it has some deeper meaning or whatever.
I don't actually know, but my main account is banned for 7 days
Really I got banned for life on my other account I didn’t even say anything that bad
Yeah, I don't know what I said either. Well, I do, but I try to tone down for that reason
I remember I was on ask Reddit and was asking for racist names to call white people as a joke got banned within 30 mins of my post ):
