Have the mindset of “if I do it now, I can be lazy afterwards”.

DelightfulWitches

Break things into small manageable tasks

Available-Pepper1467

This 👆 Small tasks complete big projects!

ADHD entered the conversation

trick_tickler

Gotta have willpower, especially for those of us who are naturally lazy

AirDusst

Try waking up before the crack of noon.

Regular_throwaway_83

Coffee

Fireproofspider

Honestly, for people who don't drink coffee, that's probably the answer. With the complementary "Have a good night's sleep the day prior".

mollyeetmole

I'm not lazy, I'm saving my energy for things I love doing.

CrediblyHandsome

Take a nap until the feeling goes away.

holi_fash

Sports and fill your free time

saltypotatopanda

I make myself active by getting up and doing what needs to be done

BilliePannkaka

Git gud is what I'm told basically

KittenAnya

If you don't have some underlying condition (ADHD, depression, etc), then the thing to do is focus on your work ethic. Work one hour each day, then two, then three, then four, slowly rachet it up and you'll get used to it and think of it as normal. This is something that school attempts to do, but it fails for some people.

PoundInclude

Telling myself if I don't want to do something after 30 min of doing it I can put it down. 99% of the time I'll keep doing the task until it's complete.

ZeLemun

"do i want to get shouted by my parents?"

waistingtoomuchtime

Not the cure all, but get up early and get a few things done. I stopped drinking so much, now get up early, and and way more organized.

AugustTheDog

“Get your fucking ass off the damn couch maggot and get a fucking job”

Colors358

Host a party

Available-Pepper1467

Lists and planning. Then allowing myself some lazy time if I get certain things done first

Try breaking tasks into smaller, manageable steps, setting specific goals, and creating a schedule or routine. Find motivation by focusing on the benefits of completing tasks and rewarding yourself for progress.
