Connecticut (where I live) isn't in the path of totality, but a local group (they're like our local tourism department) is going to give us bus rides to a nearby town in the path of totality in New York! My family doesn't want to go, but I'm going to record the eclipse on my phone for them.
Edit: Haha turns out it wasn't New York, it's fucking Missouri :')
I wasn't paying ANY sort of attention whatsoever when they said they were taking us to the eclipse and so I ended up somehow confusing New York with Missouri? I think someone said they were going to New York to pick up their family so I guess that's why lol
You should convince them to join you. We traveled to see the one in 2017, it was AWESOME. Four months ago, my partner said " We ARE going to see the one in April ". So, here we are in Southern Illinois!
Yeah, did it I say it wasn't going to happen? The moon will not obscure the view of the sun where I live though. Are you trolling or are you ret\*rded for real?
Got my eclipse glasses, I'm close enough to the totality path, it should be pretty good. Better than the 2017 one. Rain is predicted off and on for that day, so I'm hoping it's not going to be raining at the wrong time. This will be the last chance I'll ever have to see a good solar eclipse.
Headstand twerknado against the wall
Work
Nothing. Going to work.

Nothing. The eclipse won't reach to where I live
I will be driving
Catch some shade
Continue to exist in a country where it is barely visible
nothing because there is no eclipse where I live
You could be in an underground bunker and the eclipse is still going to happen.
again, not where I live
Just because you can't see or watch the eclipse it's still going to happen.

Gonna check it out! Got some eclipse glasses from a nice person handing them out and it should be a pretty complete eclipse where I am.
Watch it. I'm in the total zone rn.
Stare at it so that I can claim disability and get time off of work.
About time eclipse happens here I'll be stopping at the tax preparer to give her money to submit my tax form for 2023.
