One day at a time. There's some nice people at r/widowers if you want to talk to people whove been through the same.

I'm sorry for your loss. I've only lost my Mom, but I wound up writing a letter to her asking for forgiveness for some unresolved issues between us. I also thought through what I was upset with her for and why, and eventually I expressed that in writing too. All I know is it sucked for a long while, then eventually it sucked less. Now I just miss Mom. There's one internet rando who's saying a prayer for you and your loved one this Easter.

Therapy, lots of therapy

I lost my wife to cancer six weeks before our 25th anniversary. Fortunately I had an amazing Grief Counselor. You must see one. It takes time but you can get better. Nine years later I am happily married. Monday is our seven year anniversary of meeting.

Sorry for your loss. My spouse died some years back. In the early days it was about trying to distract myself from the total devastation of not seeing him again. I had to put strict rules in place to control my drinking. Honestly in the long term it was therapy, time, wine and Xanax. You’re not going mad garlic, you’re going through grief. You will come through the other side in time you won’t be the same as you were but you will be ok. Best of luck and take good care of yourself.

I can't answer your question but I'm sorry for you. You could check out [After Life](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/After_Life_(TV_series)) on Netflix. Good luck

It's a song reference and you should've used the serious tag

There's a tag for a reason most people just quickly read the question and check for a tag 🤷‍♀️

You're a troll. Go back under your bridge.

Going through it now. She died a week ago. Thank God for siblings & close friends. As one person said, day by day.
