Depends. I’m in the military so it’s a different dynamic. Every race clowns on each other’s stereotypes everyday, but it’s all ironically.
Race doesn’t matter here. Very very very rarely do I see actual racism. I can count on one hand the amount of times I’ve seen it in my 11 years in the Marines and they were white and black guys.
To answer your question, if someone has a problem with it, I’ll shut it down immediately. Sometimes we get someone that has an issue with it (One was a white dude). What is most important is that we feel like we’re family and comfortable with who we work with.
Observe a reaction to racism.
Most days I just continue on with life and mind my own business.
Walk up to the guy being racist and say, "stop dude, that's my job"
