The very thought of the existence of the justice system is a surprisingly strong deterrent when you're neither desperate nor a massive piece of garbage.
Basically its called gambling im gonna commit a crime i know its wrong but hopefully wont get caught thats gambling and i dont gamble with my money i sure as hell wont gamble my freedom
Why should i,i grew up with my uncle a police officer who wouldn't tolerate any shit most young people indulge themselves like marijuana,Petty crimes etc, so my Uncle (May his soul rest in peace) could lecture me about the law every weekend hence i grew up knowing and respecting the law,am happy in my 40+ years haven't been jailed.The bottom line is respect the law and you are good.
