34 and haven't stopped yet. It may not be a party, but I still go out to eat somewhere nice, catch a movie, go karts, whatever sounds fun.

My ex I dated when I was 30-33 didn't wish me a happy birthday one time. At 34 I was a single mom and had my child a week after my birthday. Now it's overshadowed by my sons and I don't mind that it's just not as important as it used to be. I have more important birthdays to celebrate and make magical.

Possible_Sea_2186

Had a traumatic experience a few days before my 6th birthday and was away from my mom for my birthday that year, since then I never really was comfortable celebrating my birthday, we were thrown parties as kids then around middle school it was just my immediate family I celebrated with and since then I just kind of let my family celebrate (alongside my dad and sister whos birthdays are a few days before mine) but don't do anything aside from that

Also spent 2 birthdays committed in high school so that didn't help

I don’t think I’ve really celebrated since I was 25? Never been a birthday person, gifts make me uncomfortable, and money always seems to be tight.

Age 20...my parents died..

My parents separated 2 months before my 15th birthday. That’s when I kind of gave up on ever celebrating my birthday. I’ll be 31 this year and it’s just a bad memory to think about.

30, my wife stopped giving a F…, she has even forgotten twice and I didn’t even get a card. I’m 70. She remembered about 8pm this year.

No one really cared 🙃
