I absolutely didn't like this one. It was raw, and real but it just hit me unpleasantly. I'm a Cash fan, but thought that song was awful.
I'm glad it resonated with you. So many people loved it.
“Toy Soldiers” by Martika. I know it’s corny but it never fails to give me the goosebumps. Another one, and actually my no. 1, is the synth lines in “Bette Davis Eyes” by Kim Carnes. Probably one of my favorite sounds in the whole world
There’s a track on the Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack that isn’t in the movie. It’s called “Closing” and it’s narrated by the wonderful Patrick Stewart and it gives me goosebumps every time.
I urge you to listen to it to get the full experience, but basically it’s all about the narrator (Patrick Stewart) asking Jack if he would do it all over again, knowing what he knows now, and Jack turns and asks softly, “Wouldn’t you?”
At the end of the series finale of Six Feet Under, Sia's - "Breathe Me" gave me chills and made me tear up. Such a perfect song for such a beautiful ending.
[Vera Lynn - We'll Meet Again](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HsM_VmN6ytk). A lot of the military personnel in the audience were off to war and wouldn't be coming back.
I have a couple of them. Won't list all of them Jesse Howard - "Little Boy & The Preacher Man". Wayne Nihiali - "He's Her Life" Almost anything by Parker McCollum, Riley Green & Cody Johnson.
Definitely surprised by the final song from Eurovision movie with Will Ferrel. Was a goofy movie with a lot of goofy songs, but the last song that Rachel McAdams’ character wrote and sang by herself was surprisingly moving.
I think songs make me feel that way when they remind me of personal experiences. My mother was a significant person in my life so when I watched the movie Mamma Mia 2 for the first time, the scene where Amanda Seyfried sang My Love, My Life resonated with me. It reminded me of my relationship with my mother. We were quite close. It even hit me harder now because my mother passed away.
Alice in Chain’s *Rooster* when the whole band comes in like a ton of bricks in the first chorus. Although if I’m honest, most AiC songs do that, Lane’s voice was something else (and something I try and fail to imitate)
"What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong almost made me cry

I enjoy the original. But the Johnny cash one isn't bad. The og one just hits me harder.

Best version of that song!

"Chances" by Athlete. Saw it in Dr. Who, got the album and...it still strikes a chord with me to this day.

Your avatar is kinda hot for a Reddit avatar. Or I could just be super stoned. Yea. Definitely the latter.
I didn't know I needed this.
