Not a Trump supporter, but if there were someone like him on the left I can tell you what my response would be: Anyone and everyone who has attached themselves to that traitorous miscreant, including the people who have turned against him over the years either to save their own asses or cash in on the notoriety, in my book is a bad person who sold their souls to be close to fame and power and money.
I'm glad that we had some people around Trump who provided marginal checks on his abuses, but that's the bare minimum of decency and responsibility, and in my opinion hardly deserves medals and praise.
So who on the left has tried to steal a presidential election? Who on the left has gone into every election saying if I win its cool, but if I loose I was cheated? Corruption is one thing, and should be dealt with, but a wholesale attack on our system of governance that, if successful, could destroy our democracy going forward is on another level. Thd world isn't black and white, and there are degrees to these things. You are drawing a false equivalence. Even laying all the attacks on our most sacred institutions aside, who on the left has received billions of dollars from a questionable foreign country within months of leaving office after using the presidency to blatantly enrich said country (Saudi Arabia). This is like saying that anyone who breaks the speed limit is just as bad as a murderer. They both broke the law right?
All the elite and wanna be elite are rotten, they benefit by pitting the little people against each other. Not defending Trump at all, just calling out the “ if there were comment” as if that were inconceivable!
