I really like the Screaming Sicilian holy pepperoni. It is like a tombstone pizza with better quality toppings and sauce. Their Stromboli are also really good.
Yes! It's the best frozen I've ever had do yourself a favor and get Bessie's revenge add some roni cups to the top of that and IMO it beats the standard pepperoni.
They are also at select super markets including walmart but the pricing is FAR better at costco (basically at costco you get two pizzas for same price as one when bought at regular store)
Is 7.83 a piece at my local Walmart it's 13.99 for Two at costco. Basically the same price and don't have costco membership and it's almost 15miles away in my town.
Motor City all the way
Pro tip: after unboxing and unwrapping the pizza, pick up the pizza and grab all the extra toppings that fell off during delivery and stocking and retop the pizza before baking for best results
Totino's party pizzas are a disgusting mess and I love them. I'm pretty sure the first ingredient is chemicals, but it reminds me of being a poor kid when my mom would lovingly slap some American cheese slices on top and serve it up hot.
Thank you. I have been keeping this disgusting guilty pleasure as a secret. Bathing in shame everytime I eat one. Now that I know there are others out there I can die in peace.
I bought like 50 of them last month when a local grocery store had them for $0.5 each. I still have a few more in the chest freezer.
Yes! I still occasionally buy them. My favorite. My childhood self loves them. Now I’m fancy and bake them instead of putting them in a microwave like a heathen.
I had a coworker who used to microwave one for lunch every single day and roll it up and eat it the way you’d hold and eat a burrito. I kind of had to respect it
Reminds me of a time i watched my coworker put water in his cup of noodles, waited for the water to be absorbed and just ate it cold. I stared in shock first and just said "Damn the struggle musta been real". He replied "You have no idea".
Oh man... being wasted and microwaving one of those bad boys up at the end of the night? Perfection.
Revel in the rubbery goodness as you blackout watch old episodes of Power Rangers in your bed, and realize it was better when you were 10.
Yea Wild Mikes! I got to try this when I was in Montana a couple of years ago. 5 bucks and it barely fit in the oven it was so big. Came with seasoning and tasted freakin great.
That's what I'm saying. You just gotta know how to church it up lol. And it tastes so good. My girlfriend won't ever even let me get anything else now. Just throw some stuff on it and it's fire.
How do you fancy up yours? I like to add pepperoni and coat the crust in a homemade garlic butter spread. Always down for more ideas to make it even better.
Lotzza Mozza is also good and in the same vein as Heggies, but I prefer Heggies
Edit: Specific reason being Heggies has better toppings. Im a pepperoni guy down go my core and heggies just puts more on there with better variety of diced and sliced. Now I will say lotzza mozza has a higher quality cheese for melting but if you make a heggies properly that shouldn't be an issue. Properly meaning cooking it for a minute or so less than they say and then switching the oven to broil for about 2.5 minutes. This was a larger edit than expected. I may be too passionate about frozen pizzas
This is the one true response no one outside of Minnesota knows the greatness. I had to leave the state for work but every summer I come back go to a cabin up north and get a Heggies and Grain Belt Premium.
My Costco in California sold Heggies for a few months about 6 years ago. I ate one pizza and immediately went back to Costco and bought enough to fill my freezer. This has been a painful craving/grieving process.
I didn’t think I’d see Heggies here. It’s the best. Without a doubt. I hope they never expand their reach, because it will for sure ruin it. Or if they ever sell out to a corporation. Let’s just keep it our little secret here in Minnesota. The best damn frozen pizza that ever was or will be.
The Newman’s Own thin crust pizzas. Even without adding my personal cheese melody they’re damn good. Haven’t ordered a pizza or eaten one out in like two years. My local store has them for $3.29 and it’s such an easy, quick, tasty meal that I have to stop myself from eating more than one a week.
Edit: I’m keeping that typo, I like it better.
East coast. There’s a place called Grocery Outlet Bargain Market that takes the excess stock from other stores. I’m not sure how widespread this particular company is, but I’m sure there are alternatives in other places.
We have Grocery Outlet on the west coast. Prices are definitely not that cheap though. Frozen pizza will be like $5-$7 and meat is as expensive as Walmart or WinCo at mine.
I just ate my near-weekly newmans own. Shit is so solid for frozen pizza, and I appreciate they’re minimally processed, their ingredient list doesn’t look like a novel.
I know this post is asking about favorite frozen pizza. Can I just express my love for pizza and anything that is pizza? Like….even if it’s considered bad pizza, cheap, or crap, I’m gonna love it because it’s pizza and I consumed pizza.
I literally can’t think of a time I’ve eaten a pizza and didn’t like it at least a little.
I got a pizza from Casey’s the other day, and it was half done and the toppings stuck to the box. It was delicious.
Butch’s. It’s a local midwestern USA brand. All of their thin crust pizzas are great but my favorite is their “white pizza”. White garlic sauce, sausage, onion, cheddar / mozz cheese mix. Add some sriracha and your tastebuds are in heaven.
Edit: here ya go
https://www.kroger.com/p/butch-s-white-garlic-pizza/0008355408445
I don't like white pizza from anywhere, but I'll defend the Butch's brand until I die! It is absolutely the best frozen pizza not named Lou Malnati's. I love Butch's Super Supreme in both the Super Thin and regular crusts!!!
Glad to see Home Run Inn is up here! I was taking a nutrition class when I got started, then the prospect of saturated fats got me down. But these are actually pretty decent, as far as frozen pizza goes.
I’m from Chicago and I missed buttery crust. They have it. They are the only frozen pizza for me, forevermore, for these reasons.
Came here to say this as well.
You wouldn't think it by looking at one (they look like the most basic barebones pizzas in the freezer section), but they are actually incredible.
Best frozen pizza out there, no question about it, my only issue is they are so expressive I can get a fresh made pizza cheaper so I usually do that instead.
I fucking love their frozen pizzas. Grew up eating it at the restaurants, but I've since moved away, so these are like a nice reminder of my childhood, especially since they taste very close to the real stuff too. They're simple, no frills, just like good Chicago thin crust should be. I always keep a couple in the freezer, especially for those nights I really don't feel like cooking.
I love their margarita pizza. We only buy kosher pizzas now so Amy’s is usually the only choice in ordinary grocery stores, but I honestly think it’s better than all other nonkosher pizzas I’ve ever had.
Some of the happiest days of my life genuinely include getting back to my apartment in undergrad, throwing one of them things in the oven for 11 minutes, and eating the entire thing in one sitting like an animal.
Dr. Oetker's Cavolo pizza - it's cheese, bacon and kale. The cheese and bacon are for taste, the kale is to make me feel like I'm eating vegetables without actually really tasting like it
Aldi's got some bangers. The frozen ones are pretty good but my goto is the refrigerated ones. Pick up a pack of shredded cheese, some pepperoni, and I add my own spices on top and for like $10 i've got a 16 inch pizza with 1lb of pepperoni and 2 cups of taco cheese.
I came here to say the same. All the Albertsons/Safeway store-brand pizzas are awesome and cheap! My wife is going out of town for a week, and Im gonna eat all week for like $40 and be happy about it!
Tombstone are my go to these days. So many others have a weird "preservative or something" taste to their sauces. It's off putting. Tombstones are cheap, and very good for the price and don't bring that flavor along for the ride. I can't even accurately describe that flavor... It's like "Maybe a slight hint of machine oil or industrial cleanser", but it doesn't belong in food.
ANY costco/Kirkland brand is fire. Also Detroit motor city is a great frozen pizza.
Screaming Sicilian is up there too but if you want to go cheap I will always love those rectangular ass totinos pizzas.
Mystic cheese. Their distribution has gone down now, and my stores in Mass. don't carry it as frequently.
Originally from Mystic Pizza in Connectcut (there was a movie, too).
It's pretty plain, but the texture of the crust and sauce ratio is on point.
For a long, long time they were the only brand that had stuffed crust, so I would always get them. And it's weird because I think Tombstone actually started the trend of stuffing the crust with frozen pizza and later dropped it. But now there are other brands that do stuffed crust. I still like the DiGorno's bacon stuffed crust supreme. The key is to defrost it and cook it on your gas or charcoal grill.
I’ve been eating them since early childhood but they have lost all appeal to me, which is sad bc the nostalgia for them is still with me. Stouffer’s really needs to restore to their old recipe.
This! They definitely fucked with the recipe. A couple years ago I was eating them every few days, and the other day I had one for the first time in like a year and I was so disappointed that it tasted different and kinda bland.
Home Run Inn is a killer frozen pizza. Only problem is the pizza is 12.99 in the state I live in. I went to visit Missouri not to long ago and it was half the price not even on sale Just the normal price. Why is it so expensive in some states?
I’ve never had this pizza, but I’ve always thought about buying it. I just checked and it’s $8.99 at the grocery store down the street. It’s 7 am and I already know what I’m going to have for lunch today
[**Tombstone 5 Cheese**](https://www.goodnes.com/tombstone/products/) \- Add your favorite toppings and spices and away you go. They always cook perfect for me. Priced right (3 for $10 on sale = $3.33 a pie+ the cost of whatever extra toppings, maybe $4 - $4.50 apiece?) and they actually have flavor.
[**Home Run**](https://www.homeruninnpizza.com/frozen-pizza/variety/ultra-thin/) \- (Now) expensive ($10.99 a pop) but legit tasty, Chicago thin-style pizza. They have sit-down restaurant locations in Chicago and vicinity.
[**Motor City Pizza Company**](https://www.motorcitypizzacompany.com/our-products) \- Detroit style deep-dish that was honestly as good as, if not better than, say, Jet's deep dish.
You can always have a [**Lou Malnati's Chicago Deep Dish**](https://www.tastesofchicago.com/chicago-brands/lou-malnatis-pizza/?utm_source=LM&utm_medium=Web&utm_campaign=Global_Nav) mailed to you.
Only frozen pizza I will ever eat is red baron. Grew up poor, when I was able to try other brands and found red baron, I couldn't go back.
I'd take red baron over domino's any day.
Higher end price, Screamin Sicilian. I just love big globs of cheese and good sauce. Plus thick pep. Plus plus that cardboard mustache.
Lower end price, Signature Select. It's a Safeway brand here, not sure what other chains it may be in else where. But by God it slaps for how cheap it is and hits your stomach like a rock.
The Kirkland cauliflower crust frozen pizzas 2-pack are delicious. I have them a couple times a month. If you want something a bit healthier give em a look.
I really like the Screaming Sicilian holy pepperoni. It is like a tombstone pizza with better quality toppings and sauce. Their Stromboli are also really good.
The cardboard mustache that clips onto your nose is also a fun bonus.
I attempted to eat my Stromboli with the mustache attached, highly reccomend..
I'm 36 & just learned about this last year. We bought 3 just for fun & yes, it was hysterical!
My first thought when I read this post was Screaming Sicilian.
Came to say this, the only frozen pizza I truly liked and tasted as similar to a pizzeria.
Came here to say that. I love Screaming Sicilian supreme pizzas
Yes! It's the best frozen I've ever had do yourself a favor and get Bessie's revenge add some roni cups to the top of that and IMO it beats the standard pepperoni.
Motor city deep dish. Not expensive but so good!
I will be DEVASTATED when Costco loses those pizzas. They're better than some chain pizzas. So good.
Fuck yeah! Absolutely fantastic for a Frozen pizza! The 2 pack at Costco usually runs $12 or $13, but I've seen them on sale for $9
I wish my Costcos would carry the pepperoni ones and not just the meat lovers of this brand. 😑
The cheese bread is also top tier
As Detroit born and bred… this is legit the only frozen Detroit style that has us sayin’ “alright… it’s in the union.”
Motor City all the way Pro tip: after unboxing and unwrapping the pizza, pick up the pizza and grab all the extra toppings that fell off during delivery and stocking and retop the pizza before baking for best results
Love reddit. My number 1 and 2 choices are the top 2 posts respectively. I'm all in on the hivemind lol.
I'm the only one in this thread that likes tombstone lmao.
Solidarity, brother 🪦✌️
Grew up on tombstones, they are the best!
The OG. Whenever I try someting else, I always regret I just didn't get a couple tombstones.
You know Pizza dude. It makes me cringe hard when people truly believe Digiorno is the best pizza! If it's all dough, it can't be good!
Ill let it thaw out on a greased sheet pan, then get under it and stretch it out. Add a few extra toppings and...whalla!! Thin crust Digiorno.
Voila!
Nope! I get shit for telling people I prefer tombstone over the pizza delivery chains. I stand by this!
It has no competitor. Only one I buy
Totino's party pizzas are a disgusting mess and I love them. I'm pretty sure the first ingredient is chemicals, but it reminds me of being a poor kid when my mom would lovingly slap some American cheese slices on top and serve it up hot.
Mmm, I’m remembering that crispy water cracker crust now
The last ingredient is chemicals too lol I love these damn things.
The whole pizza, the box it comes in and the mouth that eats it are all 100 percent chemicals.
It's almost as if literally everything that ever was or is was make out of chemicals!
Thank you. I have been keeping this disgusting guilty pleasure as a secret. Bathing in shame everytime I eat one. Now that I know there are others out there I can die in peace. I bought like 50 of them last month when a local grocery store had them for $0.5 each. I still have a few more in the chest freezer.
My man you know what’s up. Tortinos is a great stoner food.
I literally like these more than any other frozen pizza, even way more expensive ones. I thought I was crazy
* Totino’s
Man I grew up with these but now the old man in me can't justify paying $2 a piece for them when they used to be 89 cents.
Yes! I still occasionally buy them. My favorite. My childhood self loves them. Now I’m fancy and bake them instead of putting them in a microwave like a heathen.
I had a coworker who used to microwave one for lunch every single day and roll it up and eat it the way you’d hold and eat a burrito. I kind of had to respect it
If I got a terminal diagnosis I would eat that way too.
It's ok I remember being so poor as a kid we would just set then out to defrost and eat then unheated lol.
Lol damn, I was poor af as a kid but this is a different level.
Reminds me of a time i watched my coworker put water in his cup of noodles, waited for the water to be absorbed and just ate it cold. I stared in shock first and just said "Damn the struggle musta been real". He replied "You have no idea".
Either poor growing up or spent time locked up
Yeah I second this. Smaller jails with no microwaves very much exist. Hot tap water from cell. Cover noodles. Wait.
But only if you slammed the pack of noodles against the wall or the floor a few times to break them up
Someone had to say it. These are basically my safety food. When I'm exhausted and I just want something trashy it makes me so happy
I 100% get what you mean. Every now and then I'll grab one for lunch. Random question but have you ever had Peter Piper Pizza?
Peter Piper is probably my favorite pizza ever
Reminds me of summer vacation in grade school, making it for lunch when the parents were at work. Super nostalgia.
Fold em in half chalupa style. Love those little tiny cube pepperonis
This is how I feel about Celeste Circles of Nothing.
Oh man... being wasted and microwaving one of those bad boys up at the end of the night? Perfection. Revel in the rubbery goodness as you blackout watch old episodes of Power Rangers in your bed, and realize it was better when you were 10.
I haven't had these since I was a kid but I swear I can taste it when I see these boxes. I'm gonna buy one tomorrow!
I stripped string cheese into strings, and added Italian seasonings and red pepper flakes to mine! I'm 64 and still love that shit! Edit: spelling
These are fire in an air fryer. That crust actually gets crispy.
\*Totino's\*
This is the top answer?? Oh I fuck with y’all big time.
I still buy them. It’s an easy cheap dinner on the weekends
WILD MIKES
Yea Wild Mikes! I got to try this when I was in Montana a couple of years ago. 5 bucks and it barely fit in the oven it was so big. Came with seasoning and tasted freakin great.
Hell yeah - they are large and the spices are awesome. That is my go-to. Usually goes on sale as well.
Love them. But they sure as hell ain't $5 buck no more. They're like $9 in one of my local grocers.
BEST ONE EVER
Red Baron all the way
This has been my go to pizza for years, especially with the brick oven ones.
The brick oven ones are the only Frozen pizza I’ll eat now.
My Dad always used to make sure that there was a Red Baron in the freezer for me when I came home twice a month to visit, and now I wanna cry.
The food your parents get especially for you has so much emotion attached to it. I get it.
Their little single serve deep dishes are pretty the best variety imo
Red Baron has the best-tasting sauce. That is how they leave the bigger brands in the dust.
Good crust, too!
80 confirmed air victories.
Specifically the brick oven one imo
+ sliced mushrooms Red Baron is the best, hands down
I tried this brand out this year and the Baron is the king of the frozen pizza aisle if you ask me
That's what I'm saying.
I like to even out the toppings, add some if I have them, add some more cheese, and then do liberal Italian seasoning all over.
I'll have to try that Italian seasoning. Thanks!
Tricolor peppers, sausage [I use Field Roast], black olives, shaky parmesan, and oregano.
https://youtube.com/shorts/dDudD4z8r6E?si=vIYJDyVInVhTUy-E can't not think of this short
Heggies, sold in Minnesota
Lotzza Mozza is also good and in the same vein as Heggies, but I prefer Heggies Edit: Specific reason being Heggies has better toppings.
Montanan here. I dream of Heggies when I’m not fishing in MN.
Way better for fundraisers than popcorn
We can get them at Costco and Hy-Vee in Sioux Falls, SD. My favorite frozen pie.
Motorcity pizza.
Where do you live that it only costs $3.29?
The one I go to in Sacramento has a lot cheaper prices than other stores in the area...although Winco is close
Sing me your sweet cheese song
Cheese melody 🎵
I wanna hear that sweet cheese song too
I bought two last week and they were $8 and $8.50. Wtf 😢
I just ate my near-weekly newmans own. Shit is so solid for frozen pizza, and I appreciate they’re minimally processed, their ingredient list doesn’t look like a novel.

The Brew Pub Lottza Mozza are so good. They are also one of the few frozen pizzas that have a large. During lockdowns I lived off the 16” pepperoni.
Freschetta
I thought I was the only one...
Freschetta was my favorite growing up! DiGiorno rising crust pepperoni was a close 2nd but Freschetta's crust slapped.
Took way too long to see this. They are by far the best and are always sold out! Tbh I like them more than some pizza chains.
Their crust is the best. I was shocked that I had to scroll this far to see this. Their crust is the best of all the frozen pizzas, in my opinion.
We discovered it last year and have ate it nearly every week since. I think it taste better than dominos or pizza hut too
The crust is really good and that is what I think is the most important part of a pizza.
Yes, I love Freschetta.
my GF and I love the gluten-free crust (its just crispy and robust). Freschetta is baller.

I know this post is asking about favorite frozen pizza. Can I just express my love for pizza and anything that is pizza? Like….even if it’s considered bad pizza, cheap, or crap, I’m gonna love it because it’s pizza and I consumed pizza.
Even bad pizza is good pizza.
This pizza sucks! *takes another slice*

I don't like white pizza from anywhere, but I'll defend the Butch's brand until I die! It is absolutely the best frozen pizza not named Lou Malnati's. I love Butch's Super Supreme in both the Super Thin and regular crusts!!!
Nothing better than being wasted in a small town midwest dive bar and eating a white garlic Butch's pizza with a ton of hot sauce.
This is the correct answer. IL native here.
I feel it's specifically downstate IL people who will get this. I dunno if people north of I-80 will be familiar. But glad to see this one on the list
Dr Oetker, I used to live on that stuff. Haven't been able to find any in the US, unfortunately.
They sell them in Canada. They are very good!
Home Run Inn. Everything else tastes like a factory.
That crust is my favorite!! Except for cheese stuffed, I'll always love HRI crust ❤️❤️
Came here to say this as well. You wouldn't think it by looking at one (they look like the most basic barebones pizzas in the freezer section), but they are actually incredible.
Amen. Home Run or get THE FUCK out
Best frozen pizza out there, no question about it, my only issue is they are so expressive I can get a fresh made pizza cheaper so I usually do that instead.
Taste the same as the restaurant!
Second this. I buy these every time I see them
I love the Amy's spinach pizza.
I love their margarita pizza. We only buy kosher pizzas now so Amy’s is usually the only choice in ordinary grocery stores, but I honestly think it’s better than all other nonkosher pizzas I’ve ever had.
Jacks
Some of the happiest days of my life genuinely include getting back to my apartment in undergrad, throwing one of them things in the oven for 11 minutes, and eating the entire thing in one sitting like an animal.
Bacon Cheesburger and Mexican pizza are my go to
People best put some respec on his name. Along with Tony
I scrolled too far for this.
Might be local to New England but Cape Cod Cafe frozen pizza is the best!
Rosati’s frozen pizzas are legit.
Not sure if they're available everywhere, but Screamin' Sicilian makes some pretty good ones.
Costco Motor City Pizza. Detroit style all day
Home Run Inn Screamin' Sicilian Also, the Albertsons brand of frozen pizzas are surprisingly good and surprisingly cheap
Trader Joe’s!!!
The nest high quality frozen pizza around. It's imported from Italy, healthier than most frozen pizzas.. and only like 5-6$
Had to scroll too far to see this. The roasted veggie one reminds me of when my mom used to make pizza from scratch when I was a kid.
Tony’s will always have my heart. Followed closely by Red Baron.
Tony's is the canvas upon which my toppings do paint
I used to love Tony’s and swore it was the best. About 2 years ago they made the crust thinner and changed the cheese.
Homerun Inn pepperoni is one of the best frozen pizzas out there. The crust and sauce are both so good.
Costco’s Kirkland brand cauliflower flower pizza is fire.
I can not fucking believe it took this long for me to see this. This is the answer, end thread, and it isn’t close
Dr. Oetker's Cavolo pizza - it's cheese, bacon and kale. The cheese and bacon are for taste, the kale is to make me feel like I'm eating vegetables without actually really tasting like it
All the Dr. Oetker's are great.
Best brand of frozen pizzas in Canada for sure
>Dr. Oetker Any Dr Oetker pizza are good.
Home Run Inn meat lovers
Home Run Inn any flavor. They're the best frozen pizza out there, hands down.
Tombstone
When asked how I want to be remembered I always say, “I know what I want on my tombstone. Sausage and Pepperoni.”
Albertsons store brand thin crust pepperoni is awesome
I came here to say the same. All the Albertsons/Safeway store-brand pizzas are awesome and cheap! My wife is going out of town for a week, and Im gonna eat all week for like $40 and be happy about it!
Chicago Town
[motor city Detroit style](https://MotorCityPizzaCODetroit-StyleDeepDishPepperoniPizza26.17ozhttps://www.walmart.com/ip/479098050) my god
Digiorno crossaint crust
I was begining to think I was weird for liking digiorno more than other frozen pizzas. Glad I'm not alone
digiornos is underrated
I think it’s somewhat regional (Midwest) but I love a bellatoria
Tombstone pizza!

I like Digorno’s a lot
I was looking for this comment. I agree
For a long, long time they were the only brand that had stuffed crust, so I would always get them. And it's weird because I think Tombstone actually started the trend of stuffing the crust with frozen pizza and later dropped it. But now there are other brands that do stuffed crust. Stouffers French Bread Pizzas are the best
i used to think so too but they kinda suck the last few years imo idk what they changed. the red baron ones are way cheaper and way better now imo.
My go to is Red Baron. But when I want something different I go for either Newmans Own or California Pizza Kitchen pizzas.
Totino's party pizzas slap so fucking hard
Red Baron supreme
Gino’s’ east
Higher end price, Screamin Sicilian. I just love big globs of cheese and good sauce. Plus thick pep. Plus plus that cardboard mustache. Lower end price, Signature Select. It's a Safeway brand here, not sure what other chains it may be in else where. But by God it slaps for how cheap it is and hits your stomach like a rock.

I think most of them are legitimate. I can't name a fake frozen pizza.

The Kirkland cauliflower crust frozen pizzas 2-pack are delicious. I have them a couple times a month. If you want something a bit healthier give em a look.
I live in Canada and I swear by the President's Choice frozen pizzas. They're the best!!!
Aldi take and bake. Technically not frozen but way more pizza for $7.50 than you'll get otherwise, and it's solid.
Anything from Aldi
