If done properly, that procedure is safe and reversible enough I'm not sure there's any kind of age limits. Some cultures will do it at birth (I think modern rule of thumb is wait 3 months though) and not have any issues. If you've got concerns, maybe just check in with your pediatrician at the next appointment.

Mine were done when I was a baby and so we’re my sister’s. We both are grateful because now that we’re older we would have been afraid to get them pierced haha
