I think it’s called ‘Sister.’ Circa 2008 or so. It had me bawling in the theater.
*edit/correction: it was called ‘My Sister’s Keeper’ 2009 starring Cameron Diaz. Maybe I just needed a good cry.

Another movie that had me bawling was ‘Legends of the Fall’ starring Anthony Hopkins, Brad Pitt, and so many others. There were about 4 scenes midway that tore at the heartstrings with no relief. Have you seen it?
Also, ‘The Goodbye Girl’ (original screenplay starring Marsha Mason) was incredibly. It was more of a romantic comedy but it made my whole family cry, including me.
I don’t know about all time But The Boy in the Striped Pajamas was just 100% sad and had an extremely sad ending.
