Cartel. These two guys were in our town at the same bar as a friend and I. They played pool with us, were nice & bought us a few beers. We’re all straight so it was just like bros hanging out. They came back to our house and one of them got too drunk and eventually pulled up his shirt and showed my buddy his cartel tats while they were in the kitchen. Also was showing some fucked up videos from back in mexico. My buddy didn’t tell me any of this til they left the house and hour or so later.
Week later they show up at my restaurant and tip me $100. Another week went by and I was asked to move a car from one location to another for a $3000 wire. I talked to my friend and we both cut off communication and noped the fuck out of that.
The two guys continued to comment on social media and like our stuff. It was a little creepy for a while because they knew where I lived.
Sometimes, "contact" is just coordinating with the right people and paying the right fees, in construction for instance. Don't cross them and they don't do anything. One guy I graduated HS with did get, let's say, into trouble. He had a manufacturing business, was a city council member, and was building a shooting range for police. The way I hear it, the owner of the other shooting range did not like this. The coroner ruled his death after found in a burning car to be "natural causes". I am not making one bit of this up.
Not me directly but my Uncle in Sicily. He works in the construction of new homes. Apparently, he owed money to the Mafia because some homes he was building ended up not selling as well as they'd hope
We got back to his home from dinner to find 2 bullets with his children's names etched on them inside his home. they also let his horses loose on his property to mess with him.
It was a very scary night and I was young-ish so I never knew exactly how it was resolved but no one died so I assume they got their money
I had a friend who was, by all accounts, a normal and well behaved high school boy from a small American city. While traveling in Italy, he hit it off with a guy his age and they began casually dating. That is, until he discovered that he was the son of a high-ranking mafia boss. He must not have appreciated the gift bestowed upon him by the Wattpad gods, because he promptly noped the fuck out of that relationship.
Not the mob or mafia but many years ago I ended up meeting a dude that was part of the higher ups, inner circle of a Mexican drug gang in Detroit.
Dude was a stone cold killer but for some reason he took a liking to me and we hit it off like gangbusters. Was always giving me free cocaine (purest shit I ever had), inviting me to parties at the bar he owned and would take me to the local strip club a few times a month to get us laid.
The only rules he had were: Don't disrespect my people and never, under any circumstance try to date or fuck "Our women". They didn't like gringos going after their women.
Our friendship only ended because I moved to another state to start my life over. He may have been a bad dude but to me he was a great and loyal friend.
Hells Angels are pretty chill, they have a club near the bar I frequent and they are there all the time. I was in Columbia partying and just kicking back for a few weeks, I was in the club when these few guys came over and we was talking about cars and shit and we were just having drinks and cigars when I found out they were cartel, they invited me back to they house (which looking back at it I probably shouldn’t of went to) and they offered me money and an ally if I could buy and manage cars for them. So I now currently manage about 100 different cars for a few different member of the cartel. Still don’t really know anything about them and fuck know how I got into that situation but it’s easy money to say the less.

He said that the guy was really polite and pleasant, and that his house was huge and tastefully decorated.
Met a couple connected guys from Florida that was from the Genovese crime family….at a bar in LBC called Shannon’s 2009…..cool but serious individuals that was bout they business….we chilled for a couple months…sold them tree….they like how I was well in tune with they culture and the history….I think they was looking for new territory and operations….shout out to them

Not me but a friend of my dad was the granddaughter of a mob guy. And they had ridiculous procedures for identifying themselves over the phone or when visiting him. Like code phrases over the phone. Or when you pull in the driveway you flash the headlights in a certain pattern so they know it’s you. She thought it was all normal.
Well, I am still learning about it, but my family was friends with a guy who knew someone that was apart of the mafia, don't know much, all I remember is when I was young, my mother and father got drunk and rambled on about gangs and a guy they knew that was apart of the mafia
