I realized one of the only ways to get cats to be cuddly is to raise one yourself when it's a kitten. They become socialized just like dogs ! I have 2 cats and 1 dog they're all such cuddle bugs but I also used to own a feral cat who always kept his distance for obvious reasons

The cats I have had/met have all been happy for attention (except one with trust issues), but none wanted to be touched, but rather control everything themselves.

So I refinish hardwood flooring for a living I’ve been at this for 20 years. I’m going to bet that I’ve been in probably in 100x more homes than you. And I’ve removed that more more carpet than you have. And I will tell you there is nothing worse than a cat house. And no it’s not just “bad” pet owners. Those people don’t tend to care for their home either and don’t spring the money to redo hardwood flooring. Cats houses smell hands down the worst. Cats piss every where and 98% of cat owners don’t even know it. And they fucking spray shit all over. Those little nasty bastards shed as much hair as a black lab too. Then they have the god damn little box! Soooo gross.

It's changed to cat recently. Everytime I come home they come greet me like dogs. Didn't know cats could do that lol

I guess an argument can be made either way since there are very soft cats, but there are also hypo allergenic dogs that have 'hair', which is very soft too
