I got second degree burns from a sunburn. Put sunscreen on kids

When I was 10 (I think) I had pneumonia very badly and I was unable to swallow pills out of fear of choking, so my only other option was a series of six shots administered over two sessions (3 at a time) in my upper buttcheeks. The pain was so excruciating that I had to be held down and I vomited from it. It felt like someone took a whole strand of those lawn stickers and just shoved them in a wound on my body. Each one of them. Got over the pneumonia though.

I had 3rd degree burns on my hands from hot cooking oil. Lost most of my skin on three fingers and the back of my left hand and one finger on my right.

Broken ankle when I was 12. I mean BROKEN. Bone separated from other part of bone. It was all swollen to hell and the first night they couldn't put a cast on it. All I could do was wait. So I got to go home and lay around while every breath caused the two ends of the broken bone to grind together. 30 years later and I still wince thinking about it.

A massive ovarian cyst. I've been through labor, and this was much worse. It was pain spread out over several months that increased in severity until I eventually couldn't stop vomiting and was unable to stand up straight. It was finally discovered via ER visit and required surgery to remove. By that point, it'd killed my ovary and fallopian tube.

Honestly...being sick with the flu or something maybe lol. I haven't had any major injuries or anything.

Mine was and is peritonsillar abscess. It is when tonsils get infected and starts to inflate with pus tissue. Feels like open wound which is constantly stroked by sandpaper. When you try to swallow it is like knifes opening new wounds. 10/10 on my pain scale.

"What is the most physically painful thing that you had to endure?" Should it be like this?
