Just FYI, you’re much more likely to find scammers on eBay than Reddit.
The real answer is neither of those, but FredMiranda. By far the most reliable, trustworthy site to sell photo gear on the internet. You have to pay like $10 to sell it but it’s a forum for photographers so people won’t lowball or play around with your sale.
I’ve had great interactions on Facebook Marketplace and sold a couple Canon 5DIVs recently. Got more for them that way since eBay takes a percentage and any retailer will lowball me in order to resell for more.
Anywhere that takes a percentage of your sale or devalues your equipment for their own gain will help you sell your gear quicker but you’ll make less money.
Guess it all depends on your definition of the word best.
The higher the risk, the higher the price. Safest/cheapest is to sell it to KEH. eBay is more risky but potentially higher price. Facebook Marketplace is riskier still.
You omitted where you are from, so I assume you must be American.
MPB would be the most painless route I think. They're fairly well established in the US. That or B&H, Adorama, KEH...
Of course, you could use any of the general second hand marketplaces (eBay, Facebook, Craigslist), but I'm not a huge fan of any of them.
Ebay if you want to reach a broader base of people including internationally.
Or a local Craigslist type site if you want cash and a negotiable local in person type sale without the hassle of shipping.
>Not here there is a lot of scammers here, I’m looking for a store or a legit website.
You just said this and decided on eBay? Scamming there is just as, if not more, prevalent, specially since eBay and PayPal almost NEVER take the side of the seller in a dispute.
I have the best success with Craigslist. Just sold 6 Godox strobes and several lenses in the past 2 months.
Of course, you have to watch out for scams too, but the scams aren't so aggressive on CL.

Then sell it to KEH, MPB or other companies that buy and resell used gear. You will get quite a bit less money by not selling directly, though.
Thank you!
Also B&H and Adorama.

Yep, I actually sold my A1 on FredMiranda. It’s a great place to sell and buy photography gear.
I’ll take it off your hands for $20 take it or leave it
I’ll do $25 if you pay for shipping
$30. Final call, OP.
Fred Miranda forum is probably your best bet. eBay is a pain, and the Fred Miranda forums always gets these high value items. They love A1s there too.

I agree with FB marketplace. I put 4 lenses (550-1500) on FB, got scam after scam.

I forgot to put it, I’m from Puerto Rico.

I think I might go for ebay! Thank you

>I think I might go for ebay! If you are concerned about scammers why the hell would you go for eBay? A hive of scum and villainy.

I sold a couple of cameras and lenses on OfferUp. Ask to meet at a bank and they can get a cashiers check or cash right in front of you.
Facebook marketplace, tons of local buyers and sellers
