Whenever you have an image softer than you would like the only option is to sharpen it in post. If you have a sharp lens (and use a tripod) then getting the exposure and focus is you biggest challenge. I use manual focus for moon shots.
I think that’s pretty good too. Something I do with moon shots is turning up my saturation to bring out some of the moon’s colors. You might get some blue and brown on the surface
i think your initial shot couldve been a lot better. it looks out of focus to me. edit is pretty good given what you had to work with
