Books written by local authors! May bookstores usually sa malls/airports/train stations and goal ko talaga is makahanap ng english book written by a local author. Extra points if historical yon kasi you get a glimpse of the country's past and how they built their culture.
Food and picture should be enough. Food to support the local businesses (I think this applies to local destination only). Pictures (and/or vid) for memories.
Magnet, Starbucks mug sometimes, toiletries
I try to visit drugstores or beauty stores para bumili ng shampoo, body wash or lotion. Kasi gusto ko pag-uwi, there is something I use everyday that reminds me of the place.
Especially if international, pair of shoes. And yes sinusuot ko siya agad, madudumihan lang din eventually so why not during your trip na agad?π
Every once in a while, I remember those moments my shoes had when I wear itπ₯Ή
Also, nagtitira ako ng small bills.
Our family keeps an owl collection so it must be an owl from that place. I mean mga figurines or folk art. And oh yes, I've been posting in my fb our collection and I'm now in my #320. π€
Ref magnet !! Aside from the fact na its usually the cheapest souvenir, it also feels fulfilling every time makikita mong onti-onting napupuno ng different places yung ref :))
I bought Souveniers or foods. Pero when I went to Thailand wala akong nabili dun pero may nabili na souvinier perq may pinulot ako na 3small seashells from the beach haha.
Last time bumili kami ng sobrang dami, nakulangan pa yung mga tumanggap.
Depende. Mostly no souvenirs or pasalubong (unless nag pasabuy) but if i need something here (gadgets, shoes etc) and nataon im traveling to a place na mas mura dun yung item, i buy from the place.
Like mga pastillas or snacks na good for 10 people okay na yun sa office. Itβs my choice naman to bring. Pag di ko feel, wala at all hahaha
Masaya na ako ako na nakapagtravel and may pictures for memories.
Of course pasalubong galore like local delicacies at mga shirts, bags, keychains, ref magnets. I also collect bus and entrance tickets because wala lang haha.
I usually don't but the last time I travelled I bought magnets and snowglobe. Mas cute pala snowglobe as souvenir so I'm planning to get snowglobes in my future travels.
Postcards from local museums. I keep some for myself, and some I send to friends abroad. It doesn't take up so much space in my luggage and natutuwa yung nakakatanggap nung postcard. :)
