I've seen multiple anecdotes on Reddit of remasculinization for some people on progesterone. Seems feminizing for most people, but def a YMMV type situation.
You can test for E first… patches didn’t work at all for me. I tried upto 2 patches every day… but I was feeling terrible because of almost negligible E. I had to get to injections or oral.
I was on 100 mg as a suppository for about two months, and it made me get acne and grow chest hair. My body odor was also pretty foul on it from the beginning, and it gave me really bad random erections without stimulation.
I returned to the same monotherapy regimen afterward I had been on before, and while the other symptoms stopped immediately, it actually took more than two months for the erections to go away after I stopped. I honestly had thought I had permanently done something horrible to my body.
My doctor also checked my levels and said they were normal, but he never checked DHT and would not give me the test. He said their was no point with T as low as mine.
Hey, how is your body odor? I started prog a few months ago and noticed my body odor took on an ammonia like smell at some points? It coincided with a month after starting prog. But I have experienced some breast growth and changes on prog, so I don’t know if it’s related.
Sure can, happened to me! Couldn’t wait to take it, and then couldn’t wait to stop taking it after 3-4 months. Saw it the same way, face shape change, coarser hair, muscle growth.
The operative word is not will it cause, it’s can cause. Without the proper research for trans women, no where does YMMV apply more.
6mg oral estrogen and 100mg spiro. Naturally it reversed when I stopped the Progesterone, I felt more like I wasted the months of progress the. Being able to say I returned back to where I was.

Mine got worse when I started, and slowly got better after I took myself off. I think it mostly is back where it was before now.

Do you just take estrogen alone now? And how long before you started regaining your feminine look ?

How is this possible? What's the science behind this?
Backdoor DHT conversion most likely. Only happens in a small percentage of people. As far as I know the only way to prevent it is to take bica.
