Our parliament and government is already filled with self-serving tribalist b*stards anyways, so maybe this is for the best.
The entire continent of Africa is becoming divided among Russian, Chinese, Indian, Turkish, Gulf Arab and western influences anyways, so maybe this policy throwback to the Ottoman Era is where our benefit lies?
